Lordaeron Deleted Characters on Lordaeron

Just decided to log in, I think my last time was in December to find all my characters missing. The realm information for Lordaeron says I have four characters there but I am unable to see them. Are they permanently gone?

That does not really answer anything. Yes, I know that every year inactive characters have their names removed. The last time this happened, I recovered my characters with easy. This time, I am unable to see them, even with the realm list in the client saying I have four there. Or are you telling me to ask there?

It's not just names. If your account isn't Premium and the characters were under level 51, they are gone.
The client showing a number of characters is meaningless, that comes from local data on your computer, not from the server.
