I feel the x5 experience rate is excessive for a vanilla. It would end up killing the hype pretty quickly. I would prefer the truth that the experience rates vary depending on the expansion. For example, x2 or x3 in vanilla x4 in tbc and x5 in wotlk and so on. Don't know. But x5 is excessive, I know that people have been fed up with playing the same thing for a long time but I prefer that to playing for 1 month and leaving it.

it is not the same to choose if you wanna exp x5 or x1, if all of you can exp only in x1 then will be so great, also pvp or pve will improve = much determination =more funny time.

in Icecrow when you random join dungeon most of time you ll find ppl that wanna just exp fast and no experience in dungeon, just doing the minimun until end.

otherwise in x1 we will spent lot of time in dungeon and pvp battleground, with less talent, with poor equip, in the end win who can play better, and not who have better equip , i meaning bg level "10-59"

some people don't want to do the same quest over and over for 20 years. and real pvp start at 58, rank 14 big time, in bgs man, pro pro pvp, not some ganktards/grieftards claiming "lvling experience" and they name a rogue lolikillu and permastun a low lvl over and over and over again

Warmane mods please start 1-60 testing. I literally cant wait to properly test the leveling experience and all the talents at all levels. I swear 100% I will test and not just speedrun Vanilla which is also a great fun experience.

Unfortunatley you're arguing with a brick wall, they don't understand why 5x is bad and "you can just adjust your own exp rate to 1x" is not a flawed system.
They also bring up a lot of nonsernse reasons like I've a fulltime job, kids etc etc.

at first, I came here and voted for 1x XP rate. i think vanilla and all expansion must be 1x and the player has a good sense of what he is playing. but after one 1month lvl up in Lordaeron realm, i absolutely changed my mind. there is a lot of players just gang the low lvl. Yesterday i met some rogue who killed the fly master and sat on him like 20 times. those kinds of players who don't know who is the player and who is the fly master and just want to rape everyone in the way cause they join some BG and ..... up there. i never meet those kinds of players in 1x vanilla in Blizzard or any private. so hell y it must be a 5x XP rate with those kinds of players :D I think Warmane devs know what they doing.

why is there only pvp servers and not pve

Im going to say my POV about the Realm:

- The fact that we will have vanilla talents and so on it's amazing to be able to get that old feeling and have some fun
- I've seen people hate on x5, the thing is that i've been playing on x1 for a long time and while is it fun for the first time, it's not alt friendly and i HATE leveling on x1, wasting 150+ hrs leveling (im talking about without RDF) is just too much, so the ability to choose your own xp rate is again extremly well designed.
-Regarding reputation/professions they should be increased aswell, since on x1 it's a waste of time and me personally and A LOT of people i've meet do not like that kind of grind, we want to hit our level as fast as possible and get into raiding and PVP
-Many players said that the realm should be PVE, completly wrong PVP is what brings fun into World Of Warcraft, just becouse some lack the skill or don't like PVP that doesn't mean all of us that enjoy it should be punished for that, it's in the game design to fight with other players... So by keeping the things as they were and keeping the server PVP since those 3 expansions were super fun in PVP it's going to be a big plus and a great succes!

A realm being PvE doesn't prevent anyone who enjoys PvP from doing so. You want to PvP, flag and have fun. No one's trying to stop you. Also, WoW wasn't DESIGNED for PVP...the devs back in the vanilla days were surprised how much people actually wanted to do it, and put it in as an afterthought. That's part of why it's so imbalanced. As for the World Bosses argument, the pro-PvE players haven't disagreed with you...make those boss sub-zones/areas PVP or better yet, Arena flagged so you REALLY have to fight to be the raid that gets the kill/loot. Same with the Elemental Plateau in TBC...Arena flag that area too so there's you have to defend your resource demand...even if you're on the dominating faction for the server, you still have to fight for the resource. But that's select, purposeful competition...not "omg I don't want to let you quest tonight" griefing.

Is it really "50%" leveling because it's tedious and lasts way too long? Do people only remember leveling because that's all they had time for, as they played it as kid maybe 1 hour a day in very ineffective way? And you desire to cling on to that? Vanilla may have been great when it came, but in today's standards it's outdated as ****. Many new players won't get the same satisfaction from "hardcore/slow" vanilla as you do. If you really enjoy vanilla so much, I would urge you to go play actual vanilla servers, not a 3.3.5 progressive realm from vanilla to WotLK. Some people keep saying "WotLK babies" should wait for WotLK phase, but should the same be said about vanillazillas? Once vanilla phases are over, GTFO?

RDF and wPvP exists in Icecrown (x7 btw) and in Lordaeron (x1). I would say the presence of wPvP and ganking on both realms are strong. Do you really enjoy wPvP when you're at the unfair disadvantage? Get ganked while questing, gathering, looking for group w/o RDF, while running to said instance, and then get ganked at the entrance too (that's where all the levelers walk to get ganked btw). Will you enjoy it more if you're forced to level x1 with no RDF as an alternative/safety? Not all players are masochists.

People get bored in high rates? Yes.. People must be really bored at *glances at main page* Icecrown as it only has *takes another look at the main page* 12 000 players in it. Or Lordaeron with .. yeah, 5K population.

Aren't you the person who says there are some issues, but can't muster the words to explain the said issues, or even giving your own view of things? You say things like "5x is bad", but don't really bother elaborating them any further. You're like the girlfriend that's "not" mad.

Let it also be stated that I haven't said a single thing about full time jobs, or having kids. I don't think I've ever brought any personal life "excuses" to higher rates discussion.

Devs, why don't you give us the second part of the test? look at the population on the server now and compare it at the very beginning of the beta test? People are already burned out from waiting, do something about, it will be less and less ppl on serv, and i know you see it too
