There's no such thing as "not receiving" coins, he didn't send it in the first place.
If you want to you can post the "proof" of him sending the coins, so that other people won't fall for the scam. And we'll explain to you how those screens you received were faked.

It's his account who would have been harmed in this, as it would be Coins missing from his account, while you didn't lose anything.
