Send a report to a GM through the in-game ticket system.

Waste of time I can say.
I submitted ticket several months ago of a guy who changed to master loot moments before Sartharion 3D was killed and took everything himself (he let us roll 22 slot bag and then went offline with satchel and mount).
I captured everything with screenshots and GM said that it's not enough of an evidence, probably because it could be that mount was reserved or smth.
The fact is GMs don't bother to read chat logs (if they even collect them).

I have a suspicion that logs are not collected or that GMs do not have a way of accessing them.
GMs strictly look at what's provided in reports, nothing else. They have no duty to look over any logs, whether they are kept or not, because a player made a bad report. If that's somehow upsetting, let me take the moment to remind that banning for this at all is an initiative our team had, something retail themselves didn't care about.
What worries me is that screenshots can easily be faked. If GMs do not look or do not have the ability to look at logs, then you can get anybody banned for ninja looting, harassment, etc.
One'd think if it was that easy to fool them with edited screenshots we would see a lot more people getting banned for things they didn't do, and showing so, instead of them just disagreeing with the reason, in these 8 years.
So there are people that were banned for things that they didn't do, but not that many?
This just proves how not checking logs is very unprofessional.
It's better to not give a f like Blizzard does than ban innocent players.
You capability to read whatever you want to never ceases to amaze.
It makes me wonder if that gives some insight on why your reports get rejected.
Sure, that can be arranged.
See how fun it is to pick parts of sentences and read what you want from that?
You should write the part I pick'n'choose with more capability.
If I'm saying this it's because I know it's happened to me in the past.
Yes, I know you will say that if a GM placed the ban then it was fair.
The truth is: creating a fake screenshot is very easy (just need basic paint skills, or a macro that I have managed to write in a couple minutes just to check myself that it's possible) and if you are the victim, you have little recourse. Tell aldtharios, who will look at the screenshot and say the same thing the GM said.
How to tell the GM team "if you are banning people using screenshots as proof, there's a very small chance that the screenshot is fake"? Especially stuff like this, which one doesn't want to post openly in the forums to not give people ideas.
You're correct.
Oh damn, I wonder how much it costs to hire infallible people. I didn't know they even existed.
