Hi guys,so PTR is up and as you can see, after using drums you get 2 min debuff which doesnt allow you to use or have it from someone else in your party drums popped again.
I think this is very bad decision and ill be happy if this will be removed so people can rotate LW drums in groups.
Main reason is because many people coming from vanilla in to TBC and without this debuff, many people will not have to reroll for new characters and having bis setup for raid will not be so neccessary.
Its the best decision to have either completly disabled-removed drums or nerf them so its not another a must have wb and taken one profession slot (dependins on your class)!

Its better to let people take LW in to their profession slot instead of reroll on different character with this huge nerf.
This project is made with "Quality of life improvements" which they should keep eye on that we going from vanilla in to TBC and many guild wants to keep play melee setups, but with this "innitus debuff" its not possible,so that makes people reroll on S+ tier dps classes.
I think it's a great decision by the Warmane team. I still remember when in your own guild you were forced to have leatherworking if you wanted to raid, and the same if you wanted to go as a pick-up.
Name 2 out of the top 10 guilds on this server that want to continue to play melee comps in TBC, given melee's dps compared to casters / hunters. If your guild wants to play melee comps, change the guild instead of asking to change how items work.

actually the server changed how the drum works. This is the stupidity of TBC classic, which was clearly not good. An integral part of the game is that a drum is used in the raid.
Don’t understand how these changes to drums and raid composition connected. Not only melee classes benefit from drums. In case of min/max u should have drums almost on all raiders not only melee classes. Anyway with or without drums so called melee raid composition is total garbage especially until T6 content. Even after T6 melee composition will perform worse than hunters/warlocks. It’s just a TBC meta, so 70-80% of warriors/rogues who were good in Vanilla gotta change class if you want to succeed in TBC. With these changes to drums or without - the only difference is that bosses could be a little (just a little) more challenging or wise versa. But with drums debuff all raiders will not be forced to lvl up LW, it’s really annoying to lvl up LW for warlocks or mages, for example, only because of drums.
L take, imagine having your entire raid reroll into a profession just for the sake of progression. Mandatory drums in og TBC was a terrible idea that just gatekept guilds even further.
Hi, as I start preparing for TBC I went PTR to test stuff around. I dunno if I ran into UI/add-on problems but... I've risen LW on my shaman and I don't get debuffed on Bloodlust and I can even stack with other drums, while getting the Cookstown of 10 and 2 min respectively nothing else. Am I missing something?
