It's appreciated that the PTR-TBC was posted. However, many people are confused as to when TBC will be officially released or if there will be a Pre-Patch.
I would appreciate if any member of the administration could offer some kind of information. There is currently a lot of false information on global channels. Causing new players to become discouraged and stop playing.
The answer is they probably have a deadline in mind but aren't certain yet. There are still a lot of bugs to work out on the PTR and they're not going to announce a date before they have everything ready.
At this point it would already be enough if they made an official statement with the decision on having a prepatch or not. So people can actually plan how they gonna level their shamans/paladins, or level up profs. Personally i believe a prepatch would be great both for the players to have something to do and build up hype, while the team can have more time to fix stuff, but at the end of the day what matters most is actually getting a confirmation on what the plan is.

Its not a 100% confirmation, but Malaco mentioned a pre patch on the PTR. So Im expecting a prepatch, giving people the opp to level shamans/pallys prior to tbc release :)

that's the classic tbc pre-patch, vanilla one didnt allow you to do that, I'm still holding up hope they keep with the latter.

Why would you be against a classic pre-patch, allowing people to play a new class to 60 and then start leveling in TBC at the same time as their friends?
Simple, choose a race that isnt space goat or blood elves and they can start leveling immediatley.
You missed the point by a mile. I feel sorry for the woman in your life.
People wait pre-patch for Draenai Shaman & Blood Elf Paladin but really good advice otherwise, no one knew you can still play without pre-patch /s

I know full well what he was getting at, however that's not a valid point as you can still level up shamans/paladins on other races with your friends.

So you basically have no argument why you really want it, but a hashtag which means nothing cause we aint any of those two? #iactuallyfeelsorryforyourstateofmind
TBC Waiting room is getting real stale. Can we PLEASE just get a Date for pre patch and Release. Just so we know. Realistically to give a date hurts no one, so what's the issue?

I've plenty of reasons for keeping it with the vanilla prepatch rather than classic one. Have no obligations whatsoever to point out any of them just because you disagree with me.
If they give a date, but complications arise and it has to be pushed back, people will complain more. Best to only announce the date when they are sure.
I expect it to be November 18, 2023 - the one year anniversary of Onyxia.

November ...."Facepalm".... I will have dropped this server by then, and I know im not the only one. Vanilla is the most boring of expansions. All that happens on this server is.. 1 - People buy boosts.. And 2 - Get World buff and afk in org... Guilds have already finished all the vanilla content and it will still be there after TBC Comes out. There is no harm is announcing it, at least the pre-patch. Just fake excuses..
