1. How do I report a person?

On my latest dungeon, a person had two characters at the same time, and one was not playing, so we were effectively 4 people instead of 5. However, we couldn't kick him, because he had two votes. How do I report this?

  2. If said person was on a high geared toon and was boosting damage exponentially, you really shouldn't be complaining, as long as you're not wiping explicitly because of that person.
If he's just being a lazy entitled d-bag, then sure, report by all means, tho you won't be getting much in terms of support on the matter.

Be the big man, let them have their fun, since they are so big and tough with their gear. Let them exploit others in RDF and enjoy the quick run. Just remember to record evidence and file a report after the run.

The dualbox is already the entitled lazy d-bag. Why?1 RDF instead of two. Special big DPS privilege to people turn blind eye.

  4. Okay, let's look at it from a different angle.

Let's say I'm dragging my fresh 80 mage behind my... bis retri, or like a 6.7k orange axe wielding sweaty warrior of the light. I'm more than compensating for 4 average dungeon enjoyers dps, I'm tanking and pulling extra smart due to, well, obviously base 400 defense rating so not exactly immortal.

What is the rest of the group doing?
    - A couple of brainless dps who barely scrape up 1k dps but, as soon as they see someone tanking in their dps spec, the ninjapull fest begins purely because they are mad for whatever reason.
    - The healer, overwhelmed with incoming group damage starts getting annoyed, maybe starts pissing on me, maybe leaves, it's a 50/50.

So we end up with what - instead of thinking SLIGHTLY outside the box and, shocker, letting the "tank" pull, people turn childish and basically do everything humanly possible to make me look like a delusional credit card enjoyer who plays the game solely to ruin it for other people. Ok, but what about the ninjapu... NINJA-MINJA CRY MORE BRO U NUB U RETRI U NO TANK.

    Why?

I've tanked as retri, I've tanked as unholy, hell even fwar at 6k+. The only inconvenience in fwar is the lack of easily accessible taunts like ret/unh, so I figured let's not make it too miserable for people. In one out of three groups where I tank as a high geared dps(I draw the line at fos/pos/hor if in RDF), I get full cooperation, as if I'm in actual tank spec - people let me pull, they sometimes CC stuff, the healer keeps healing like he would heal any other tank, and the dungeon is finished in the same exact time it would take with an actual tank.

Do you have a clue WHY I do it tho? Here:

Guy literally too chicken to play the spec he's ninjalooting gear for. So you mean to tell me I'm waiting in queue for turds like him while they sit tight queued as dps? No, thank you.

Again, If the boxer is just dragging a fresh char bcs he's fed up with the same **** I am, but is otherwise carrying the group - I don't care if half the server reports it. If he's clearly being an obnoxious prick about it while also managing to disrupt gameplay with his own stupidity - by all means bro shouldn't be allowed near an internet connected device.

    Learn to tell the difference.

What's the difference between the obnoxious prick and you? I'm not seeing a difference here. Just big fat delusion of entitlement.

Are rules something that only the big players can break, and are supposed to be "allowed" to do so by "weaker" players? Do you have source for that? Last time I checked the rules are the same for all.
As I said before, if you get these obnoxious pricks with 6.7+ whatever characters dragging their alts around. You have few options: let it slide or leave. Whether you report them after or not is entirely up to you. Report probably depends how they behaved during the run. Wink wink for the entitled people.

Then again, I don't find myself head first on the ground with my 6.7k orange axe wielding bloody warrior blaming low heals after dying to *checks notes* one-shot in .. RDF. Maybe it's because I don't drag my alts after my other alts in RDF, or it could be a simple skill issue. You know, these WoW players sometimes don't know how to play.

  6. What makes you think people always want to be "carried" by an entitled overgeared player?

You can come up with however many scenarios you want about how people made you want to ***** out, none of it makes it so you aren't forcing people to go along with just following when they could very well want to do the dungeon normally and have fun. The worst kind of "help" is the one you never wanted or needed.

  7. What's the difference between the obnoxious prick and you? I'm not seeing a difference here. Just big fat delusion of entitlement.
You haven't played with me once to see it. If you seriously believe I'm dps tanking out of entitlement, you definitely haven't run a dungeon with me.

Exactly what rule am I breaking by tanking as a dps(when doable)? Not talking about the drag-a-fresh-80-behind situation.

Go back through my handful of posts and find one sentence where I believe/say this behavior is 100% bannable if reported. I've been threatened with stupid reports like this multiple times, I'm well aware none of them stuck, because a) both my accounts are, always have been and always will be in good standing, and b) the two options. Reporting means nothing when it comes to personal issues.

Then again, I don't find myself head first on the ground with my 6.7k orange axe wielding bloody warrior blaming low heals after dying to *checks notes* one-shot in .. RDF. Your own twisted interpretations of my words. Like I said, dps tanking is not about pulling everything and then blaming the healer. That's moronic. If I'm dead, it's because the salt bags in the group decided to **** around and make it look like it's my fault. But funny how when I manage to pull what I intend to pull there's no one dying, huh...

Seeing as you're both looking at it from a very salty point of view, there's no point in this discussion. Have it your way. :) Ninjalooting gear for an offspec because you don't want to play said offspec with geared chars in the group - fine. Tanking a simple dungeon on an fully capable, overgeared dps character - disgusting entitlement. Understood.

At the end of the day, I enter with the full intention of finishing a dungeon properly. Not to troll them, or make their gaming session miserable. If that was my intention, I'd just log warrior, queue as dps and watch the tank and heal suffer later. If people don't want to play the game, it's their problem.

While we're on the topic of entitlement - main spec changes? :) How about this small ninjalooting loophole? Everyone playing one spec but hoarding gear for another spec they never play? Definitely not entitled.

But again, have it your way. You're hard set on a mentality. I'm done with this nonsense.

  8. There never was a point in this discussion because you're in late stage Main Character Syndrome. You talk like you're some sort of misunderstood hero, when in fact you're shoving players around with your overgearing like it's a morbidly obese belly, convincing yourself you're doing something good when you don't even ask the rest of the group if they're okay with it and leaving if they aren't, then hiding behind some whataboutism over something that players have to agree with and trying to call it a loophole.

  9. How is that any different to a high geared player joining normal dungeons as dps? They will outdps and "carry" everyone in party too, is that too should be reported then? Anyone should be allowed to play how they want unless it disrupt other's gameplay right? Let's ban high dps!

  10. Also very funny to read about "not asking others about theirs opinion before doing something" from a guy who defend multiboxing lol

  11. If you can't see the difference on your own, it's not worth my time trying to explain it.

  12. Yeah, as always. It's easier to just say "uhh you're just too stupid to understand" instead of actually proving your point, right? Look I can do it too - if you can't understand why it's the same I won't bother explaining it to you. Point proven, let's ban high dps from the normal queue.

  13. Sounds like you have a plan for your own private server. Good luck!

  14. Ha, if you're going to appeal to that, next time do it from the beginning so you don't "waste time". Just say in every post that doesn't agree with your opinion that "we do what we want on our server", at least that will be honest opposed to dubious attempts at argumentation based on cognitive distortions.
