Remove XP3 and XP5

They should remove those options from the game in the kingdom of Onyxia, since most players level up quickly, others want to play from xp1 or xp2, but there are no players for dungeons, with an appropriate level, other players do not know where to do quests, or where to go, or what to do. If it is supposed to be Classic, give them Classic, do not give them the option of XP3 or XP5 because the point of leveling, doing dungeons is lost. Please if you can, remove that.

You level at same pace as others regardless of xp rate. If one started 4 days ahead of you, they'll keep that 4 days lead in general. Doesn't matter if it's 7 or 10 levels, you won't get grouped in same RDF. Onyxia's true purpose is the end-game. I don't see why people would need to go through the tedious process of leveling characters over and over again at lower speed.

If you want your x1 rate experience, nobody's stopping you. Many, many, many people wanted that x1, same as you, so I'm sure they're leveling their alts as we speak.

On another topic - any chance to decrease to 2x in TBC, 1x in Wrath, so we can transfer to Lordaeron? Maybe pay for the transfer too if wanted? With character trade on Lordaeron its almost the same, and many people would want to keep playing on Lordaeron over Icecrown, content is harder and a real challenge.

May i ask what the obstacles are, or how this is decided? Because from my POV id assume Lordaeron makes the lowest revenue of all realms, while having a declining amount of players since the start of the realm - and it has changed quite a bit from its initial setting anyways.

1x xp --> Marketplace available, so can skip the whole leveling part
Restricted coin shop --> Marketplace available, so items are obtainable without having to raid yourself


I understood the transfers from FM seasons to Icecrown, given the "short" timespan the realm was up, high xp rates, and the general unique standing of Lordaeron, but i think with Onyxia it could be a win-win. If there are technical limitations, those can be solved and im sure people would be willing to donate for an option to transfer there. Lordaeron would get a new spark of life, while many people who committed to Onyxia for 2.5/3 years get to continue their journey on a realm which has challenging content like Onyxia, without having to start fresh.

For starters the whole coin shop would have to be revised for vanity items only which I doubt they will ever do for their seasonal realms, 2nd as you touched a bit upon the xp rate, if it's anything above 1x it's unfair to everyone else who actually leveled on Lordaeron in the first place.

Nah, if you read his post that's not the issue. He wants everyone to be at a low rate, so there will be more people doing the dungeons he wants to do and supposedly "people will know where to do quests," whatever that means.

I really can't be bothered, because it truly feels obvious for me, so I'll just point out something simple and undeniable: Onyxia already had a whole "expansion" with different rates. Even in your suggestion, that isn't all that much less absurd than the original post, you say for Burning Crusade to have x2 rates. Leaving aside the fact it would be a kick on the nuts of anyone who joined to play at x5 to suddenly get their experience changed without warning, it would already make it further unaligned with Lordaeron.

Why would it be unfair, if i can go and buy a char on the marketplace on Lordaeron already now, and skip the leveling and gearing part completely as well? Not to mention that once Icc25hc is cleaned on Onyxia and enough time afterwards has passed for the items to be available on the shop, chars will already be transfered to another realm i guess.

Im sorry, but even if you left it on 5x, 3x, or whatever, how does the leveling pace have any unfair advantage when comparing to buying chars on the marketplace on Lordaeron is possible?

What is the difference between buying an existing char on Lordaeron, and maybe paying to have your Onyxia char transfered there? From the player buying/transfering, its the same experience.

In which way is it possible to have an open exchange of arguments for it not to be taken as "repeated insisting"? My personal POV came only because you stated your own POV how you cant see why someone would claim something like that, therefore i shared it with you, which feels logical to me when people have two different POV´s. Also i did not imply that Lordaeron is dead, only that it would increase player numbers - which cant be a bad thing, right? With all due respect to your position, i will be retreating from this conversation/discussion now, as i dont see any possibility of productive continuation.
