Why are you bringing shop into this? :)
In that case...you can start on Onyxia, donate for coins, buy gold, wait for tbc, get boosted to 70 in a few hours, and then start your pvp grind.
Let's say that someone did a grind for you, but the grind was done. Let's say you grinded RL money instead of wasting ingame time leveling.
If you need pve item to push arena, you go work for it like you had to back in the days. For example, buying DST for 1k AP is crazy stupid lol
While people spend months and months without seeing any DST AND you will be in same bracket as them :D So you have the pure advantage over any Onyxia player that is playing here for a year like I do.
Do you understand what's going on? You have a 100% chance to get an item while we have to fight RNG + other players for it.
is your argument: "because onyxia has a cash shop (which never includes last Tier gear, only obtainable by raiding current content) it's a good idea to merge two completely different realms' Arenas"?
you arent the sharpest tool in the shed, are you
LMAO yeah like what? there's literally a cash shop and these people are hyper ventilating over an arena server that's literally going to add MORE population to the arena ladder.
No one uses DST in arena so your opinion is already invalidated. 1500 player detected.
Brother, read between the lines. DST was an example, put any item name instead of it, whatever.
Also, by saying "1500 player detected." I can clearly say you will be one of those Blackrock players who will log Onyxia and /spit /smell /flex on people after getting an arena kill. This is exactly the behavior we are trying to avoid here. Privat server pvpers are something else.
But yeah, I'm around 1500 and proud because I actually grinded for it.
You start at 1500 pal.
Yeah, I never pass 1550.
Any normal argument besides comparing arena ratings to comments?*
Our progressive realm Frostmourne was already connected to Blackrock and it has been proven that it's a very successful model which brings more activity to PvP.
So no, its no risk for Warmane to do that again.
Where is Frostmourne now?
Dead or renamed or merged or something else?
Man, please do tbc crossrealm blackrock a lot of people will enjoy it so far!
Ignore pvers whining kek
They just wanna force every pvper to do a unnecesary pve farm and abuse their overpowered gear due to gm bjobs I have like 10 friends who will play if they can just pvp.
First of all, it won't bring more players. As there will be a lot of players/guilds who will actually quit Onyxia if this cross-realm comes through, including PvP players obviously.
Also, it seems you haven't read this topic at all. Even if it brought more people, it would bring more peple with advantage over the others, which is the problem and why Onyxia players are upset about it and reason this topic was created in a first place. We don't want that. If you don't like what we are saying, why don't you leave us alone? It is the same thing again and again. If you are so happy about Blackrock TBC and want to play PvP there, then go. Just don't drag Onyxia realm into it. You think it would help Onyxia? That is your opinion. People who actually play Onyxia tell you otherwise and don't want this. Really simple.
I could care less if there are 5000 more active PvP players (from Blackrock), if they are casually grinding arena points to have (a lot of them by simply playing 10 games a week) much better gear than I do, after hundreds of hours hard work of attuning myself for raids, gathering all the pre-raid gear, spending time on consumables, crafts and other stuff and then spending even more time raiding, needing 9/24 other people to have a CHANCE of having the gear that people from Blackrock have guaranteed.
It is very obvious that people defending this idea of cross-realm are doing it only knowing Blackrock TBC on it's own will most likely die. And you need Onyxia server to survive. But why should it concern us? We have been playing on Onyxia for a long time now, have our community and if we don't want this you should respect it instead of forcing your opinions on us. This applies to everyone trying to justify this cross-realm. It is actually pathetic.
You will be able to play with your 10 friends on Blackrock TBC anytime.
You don't need Onyxia for that. Leave us aside.
Why do you need to crossrealm with PvE whining kek? Make Blackrock solo standing realm and we all happy.
Best regards!
You need to understand that you being at that rating makes people realize that you don't have the full context of TBC pvp and that's shown in your DST example.
You think that having PvE items available for honor purchase is going to be a big detriment to people trying to do arenas on Onyxia who need to raid to get it. You used DST as an example.
The other user correctly pointed out that DST, as well as basically every other item sans glaives and skull, are not going to make a difference in you getting above 1550, and they won't ruin your experience in PvP.
The entire argument is based off of a false notion that getting PvE items for honor is going to ruin your experience on Onyxia. It will not.
- PvE items do not have a big enough impact to make the difference you are implying
- You will also get PvE items eventually. Maybe one trinket will never drop for you, such is life. That's WoW. You will still be 1550 whether it drops for you or not and if you keep blaming gear as the reason that you aren't higher instead of actually learning to play, then you'll never get above that and there's nothing anyone can do to help you.
