1. First of all, it won't bring more players. As there will be a lot of players/guilds who will actually quit Onyxia if this cross-realm comes through, including PvP players obviously.
If you play a private vanilla server for months or a year+, then quit based off of a moral standpoint of you not wanting to cross-realm PvP with players on a tournament realm, then you need to do some serious reflecting on what actually matters to you.

What are you scared of exactly?

  2. Where is Frostmourne now?
Dead or renamed or merged or something else?
just like onyxia will at some point, frostmourne went through the full progression cycle concluding wotlk and was merged into icecrown after, which will happen to onyxia in the future too i think

You haven't answered once, why do you need crossrealm and not a standalone Blackrock realm?

I have literally answered this exact question twice on this thread. Scroll back up. I actually remember asking you 3 questions that you never responded to. So feel free whenever you're ready.

I though as someone who is able to judge what is best for Onyxia, know basic stuff about the realm...

What are you implying that I do not know about the realm?

  7. Our progressive realm Frostmourne was already connected to Blackrock and it has been proven that it's a very successful model which brings more activity to PvP.
So no, its no risk for Warmane to do that again.
Just because it didn't happen last time does not mean the risk just goes away.

Im not ignoring it. Im saying there is a risk, which I dont consider worth taking.

If you play Russian roulette and you dont't get shot the first time, therefore you will never get shot?

  10. Wait the f*ck

Earlier today i was like ''well its not the worst.... a separate insta-server? kinda stupid but whatever''

But reading this post, you're telling me that onyxia and blackrock will Queue arenas/BGs into the same player pool ?
WHY ?! how does that make any sense, Terrible.

again..... Why :O what a weird decision.

Fair. Do you mind letting us know why you don't consider this a risk worth taking? How will this realistically negatively affect your personal experience in TBC given what we know about the small level of affect PvE items have and the requirements that we know will be in place for obtaining both PvE and PvP gear on the TR?

  14. I literally have no idea why the "pro blackrock PVP glads" here in this Thread are so keen on getting their merger with the " PVP dead, 6 hour AB queue time Onyxia " and the " 90% pve player base onyxia " or how they like to call it.

If you think that playing Wow how its intended to be is lame( grinding pve gear, grinding gold, buying gems and enchants, meticulously collecting items that will help improve your pvp experience ), why are you so eager to have the opportunity to play BGs and arenas with Onyxia players.

If you want instant 70 and instant gear because you hate the grinding and " wasting time ", feel free to play on Blackrock with your fellow multi glad 4000 rated " pro pvpers ".

If you want to play alongside Onyxia players on Arena and BGs, you can always join the Onyxia realm and level your character. There is no need to mix both :)

It's a longer post maybe a page or two back I think.

Basically not about the loot more the effect on everything else.

The gain, shorter queues which we can only really guess at to how needed it actually is since Onyxia isnt in TBC yet, is not significant enough to merit a merge.

Ofc this is all guesswork and speculation from all of us but I am of the opinion that Onyxia should be given a chance to handle itself before any kind of merge for population should be implemented.
