Hi. Sorry for my English. I dont understand what exactly this rule of server means:
"In RDF needing on items for Off-Spec"
Can you explain please what exactly Off-Spec means? I mean, I know what Off-Spec is, but I also know that sometimes different players understand it differently. But if these are rules, where can I read exact information what is "Off-Spec" in context of rules? What exactly can I "needing" and what not?
I mean something as "If you are healer paladin, you may needing items with A,B,C and never needing items with D,E". Im not asking exactly about healer paladin. This is just example.
Off-spec means another spec you joined to dungeon as.
If you joined dungeon as Holy (Healer) Paladin - your off-spec could be for an example Protection (Tank), or Retribution (DPS).
To need such off-spec items, you need clear consent from ALL other party members to do so.
Thank you for answer, but as I said, I know what Off-spec means. My question is about "Off-Spec" in context of this server rules. For example, strenght is "Off-Spec" for... who? Again, Im not asking exactly about strenght. This is just example. I mean, I want to read exact rules. Just for example:
On another server, I played healer paladin, and my friend did same. In his opinion, main things for healer paladin are stamina and intelligence. In my opinion, stamina almost useless, and intelligence is ok but not very important, but main things are spellpower, manaregen and haste. Again, this is just example. So I want to read about "Off-Spec" in context of this server rules.
Read a guide for your class and specialisation and see what your desired stats are.
If thats how it works, where can I find official guide on this site? Because, as I said, my question is about rules of this server. I know what items I need for myself, but I dont know what I can take to dont get banned. To follow rules, I need opportunity to read exact rules, obviously.
If you are looking for a list of items you are allowed to roll on that was published by the staff, such thing does not exist.
You will have to use your common sense.
Am I correct understanding that they require us to follow rules, but dont tell us what those rules are? Thank you for answer anyway. I guess I should write suggestion then.
It is very simple:
Your Main Spec is the role you accepted que as. That is your Main-Spec in context here, regardless of what your MS from your perspective. So if you accepted as healer paladin you can NEED on items for holy paladin. Everything else is "off-spec" and only GREED.

As I already said 2 times, I understand that. But thats not what my question is about. My question is "What items are needed for holy paladin?" in context of game rules. Again, not exactly about holy paladin. This is just example. I already gave example when 2 different players think holy paladin needs different items. How do you know who is right and who is wrong? Thats what we need exact rules for. Its impossible to follow rules if we dont have rules. This isnt about someone playing dumb as Shred92 said. Of course, I dont mean something as "Do warrior need intelligence?"
For armor it's straightforward. You don't roll on cloth or leather if you wear plate for example. Weapons and jewelry are going to get fought over because many classes can use the same stuff.
I'm in the "roll on what you want and let RNGESUS sort it out" camp, and I hate the politics in raiding groups. About the most I'll do is 5 man dungeons. It's why I love RDF.

But admins disagree with you, as I understand. Because we also have rule about Off-Spec, not just about cloth/plate. But we dont have explanation about Off-Spec. Different players understand it differently, then get banned just because they dont have opportunity to read exact rules to follow them. Thats why we need exact rules.

Yes, this topic is avoided like a plague, long time ago I tried to come to some conclusion, but there was no logic under it, only strong baseless opinions.
Basically you can NEED items which has all stats useful for your spec. If even one is useless (eg Spirit for holy pala) it's ninja. That's the best you will ever get.

Dies this mean Hunters can "need" strenght? Strenght gives attack power to Hunters. But strenght gives even more attack power to warrior. But for tank warrior, strenght also gives block, not just attack power. So how to understand who is right?
