From someone who enjoys questing and raiding -
I am on alliance, and had a great time playing TBC release yesterday.
I play a druid and sneak around as much as possible to avoid the ganking.
It was extremely annoying trying to do some quests since there was a mountain of horde. Alliance were just killed if they went close.
From Hordes perspective, it guess it was also annoying having to wait ages? Maybe a few quests need to be tweaked to speed up the hand in process, or duplicated so get people through faster (Nagrand areana/ring of blood comes to mind)
It would be nice to have things more balanced, and I can understand the concerns that most people will switch / quit if they are not.
I'll keep playing here until that happens, if it ends up crap to play alliance, I'll know for next time and switch early to which ever side has more people.
The idea of scaled honour rewards seemed like a decent idea... would mean some of the better pvp players would transfer so they could farm honour quicker? I don't know if people actually farm honour from us people questing or is it just done to annoy/feel strong? I don't ask to bait, serious question.

Dung que, if you dont have tank with you, you will wait 30-40mins for que to pop up, ally or horde side, same s**t.
5% players dont participate in pvp or wpvp.

Early, all players in server did 1 thing "f***ing feeding in av" why, bcz you can get fast items, but again YOU CRYIN.
20% "who knows about gfarming in av, you did it, and AGAIN you CRYIN. All of you play pvp for some reason and guess what ...you.. allways.. cryin about something.
Play the game or dont. Dont be p****s.

Forced Mercenary Mode, Alliance perks, disabled horde character creation, etc...
These are all just "workarounds".
The cause of the faction imbalance are the racials and that can only be fixed with a racial shift feature.
Racial **** + free transfers to alliance + disabled mercenary mode = problem solved.

To be honest, even if outlands was accessible to alliance I would've quit anyway. And here is why. These are the most degenerate players I have ever seen. On both sides. And I have seen alot. This place is just crawling with the worst kind of bottomfeeders. Im quite amazed that so many scumbags gathered here.
Today, in all my dungeons I ran, more loot than not was ninjad, for example. Even by people who have no use for it. Like, why? And then they behave like Ezrage here on the forums when you for example call out a tank to give the caster-shaman his mail-intellect gear. Just pure vile people. And when you try and advice him to give the loot the only one who had a use for it (the poor shaman) - instant ignore and a "cry more".
The worst dungeon was the last one where all items dropped was ninjad. I don't even get how that is even possible? A true wtf moment. Never seen anything like it.
Anyway, Im out. This was way to degenerate to be even remotely fun. I'm going to take a shower to get rid of this pure disgust.

Between the overtuned + bugged dungeons and the incompetence this is not TBC experience at all. Horde got all firsts realms already first day. Alliance cant even quest. Other better options out there.

they should disable world pvp for like 2 weeks and it would help alliance at least a bit to be able to do quests and enjoy leveling and not be ganked 24/7

Dunno, I was questing in Hellfire the last few days with zero issues.
90% of the time both sides are busy questing, Horde&Alliance are taking turns on mobs, PVP is rare.

And that is exactly how things go most of the time. As i mentioned in other threads: There is only a very small minority currently demanding a balancing of both sides with favors to the alliance when most of the playerbase is totally fine with things they are right now. And even if its currently lets say 70% Horde, that doesn´t mean that 100% of these 70% take part in every aspect of the game including RDF, Dungeons and Raids or PvP.
Eversince WoW has been released and is available as Private Service, People know that Alliance often means fewer players, but still doable content. And it won´t ever change, not here nor where ever else.

Now they are because horde are already getting ready for kara next few days... those are probs their alts they wanna level real quick. Meanwhile unless you are a 5%'r alliance is just now hitting 70 gettin raid ready. Lmao. Cmon.
