Blackrock/Onyxia imbalance

In the game world of Blackrock it is very easy to get epic equipment players entering the battlefield or arena have a huge advantage over players from the world of Onyxia. I have completely lost the desire to play on your project due to this problem

This just is not true it’s way easier to obtain PvP gear on ony. The full blue set just requires rep most ony players had it well before us. Not only that Kara takes less then 2 full hours to run meanwhile to do the Kara quest on our server can take days esp as a healer not only that but there is another huge downside. You guys are getting multiple items per boss kill which means you are way more likely to get his stuff much faster we get a single box with 1 item out of the entire loot table so 95% of what you really are getting is useless trash. It’s not some mega unfair advantage if anything ony has a massive jump start on PvP gear and the very dedicated people (I farmed 12-14 hours a day the whole first week) have gear sure but what do you want. You guys get full season 1 epics and we have to play with blue gear only if you don’t enjoy PvP that’s your issue not the state of the server. We are going onto week 3 and my disc priest has yet to even complete the Kara questline once it was originally way too hard including quest 2 taking days to complete defending AB bases meanwhile yall have full bis from heroics can go Kara easy week 1 and start access bis game items this season if I was on ony my priest could have match wep easy tier 4 helm surrounded by PvP gear I got fully from dungeons. Meanwhile on ony you gotta trade 5 badges for 1 heroic box to get nothing if you think it’s meta unfair for us you just haven’t logged on the server. Nor is it surprising in classic with level 60 cap it was all ony players thus nobody can complain everything is equal but if they don’t host a PvP server then you have no options to ever PvP on ladder for ony except for queuing into the same few teams forever. Tbc is quite popular and with malaco back holding a reputation for one of the best PvP servers ever it’s really not a shock it’s popular instead of complaining be happy you have options for both tbc is when arena starts there was always gonna be a massive influx when it dropped just wait for wrath you gonna complain that better guilds came and took rank 1 pve ranks from you too but you have all the advantage

Simple fix, if you like to pvp play a Blackrock toon, don't bother pvping on onyxia toons, you'll get wiped. Onyxia = PVE Blackrock = PVP.

You are so delusional, i won't even bother with arguing...

If it is no surprise that a PVP server dominates the ladder and you only play against your own since you are so good and skilled, why need us then? I really suggest to all Ony players to just stop playing PVP and to stop supplementing Blackrock's "Pvp" scene.

This guy just wrote a big *** paragraph just to be instantly wrong on multiple things.

Blue gear for rep is not available and reputation takes forever to farm anyway. Most people don't even have head enchants for rep. Also enchants and gems are so expensive that most people don't have them and they are cheap on Blackrock.

Heroic dungeons are so hard that it requires pre bis characters that also takes long to gear and good compositions to clear with cc. Most people haven't completed a single heroic. In the meantime Blackrock can just afk in bg to get marks to trade for loot of hardest heroics.

I constantly see Blackrock characters with 1k honorable kills or less with epic weapon or other loot from heroics.

Epic arena gear is available to Blackrock for arena points just like Onyxya.

In the end it's silly to argue that Blackrock is fair. Starting characters might be ok but the way you can get all the gear and consumables on Blackrock is too good.

Bosses drops 2 items but there are 10 players in raid which is 0.2 items per player. For kara you need to do long chain quest, gather and organize group, learn boss mechanics and if you are doing nightbane as well then you are not doing it under 2 hours as a average player. Even if we exclude all the time it takes to travel and organize group and lets say it takes you 5 hours to 2 kara runs... how many items you get from doing 5 hours of BGs ? Because from the two kara runs i did on Onyxia i got only one upgrade.

I will give you some examples.
Cheapest Nethercobra Leg Armor on Onyxia auction is currently 1175 gold. On blackrock you can buy it for 2400 honor.
Cheapest 8 STR gem on Onyxia auction is currently 99 gold. On Blackrock you can buy it for 500 honor.
On blackrock you also get free super rejuv potions and bandages you can spam entire battleground on cooldown for completely free.
Do i even continue ? The effort and time you need to put into getting items on Onyxia is uncomparable with Blackrock, one third of players in BGs are either afk or semi-afk not even playing the game and getting gear for free.

There is already a topic on the same subject that started 5 days ago. Are you planning to repeat your nonsense here because you ran out of arguments, hoping to be 'right' simply because people are tired of replying to your tears? Before Onyxia tbc, cross-server functionality with Blackrock in TBC was set in stone. Blackrock in WotLK has worked well for many years, and it will continue to do so in TBC. What a clown fiesta. I hope the administration doesn’t plan to appease everyone and lets you keep crying.

It does work well indeed. Shorter queues and more PvP for everyone are nice but there are some balancing tweaks needed. Honor costs of gems and enchants are laughable compared to prices on Onyxia. And same goes for gear from heroic dungeon quests (its much easier to get 1k honor and buy 5 marks than complete heroic) and raid weekly quests.
