  3. The quest chain takes 5-10x longer than clearing the raids themselves depending on your RNG. Make the option to at least pick up all the quests at once or consider something else.

    We are stuck doing bgs 15 hours a week, EVERY week to complete the quests. How is that fair? At this point, I could raid log on onyxia, and it would take me 2 hours max

    This is in total contradiction of the spirit of what an Arena tournament server is supposed to be. Also think about next seasons, do you really except players to keep doing 15 hours of bgs just to gear up from raids? Come on...

    it doesnt take 15 hours to complete these quests. if you do require 15 hours to do them you are doing something very wrong

  5. There are 14 quests, assuming you take 1 hour per quest (a single bg takes 20-30minutes to complete from the moment you queue to the moment you get out). Of course some can get done in 20mins or less while others can take multiple hours or the entire day (5 cap in AB, 5 wins in a row... good luck when you are 2.4 mmr for that one). 15 hours is a rough estimate but it's accurate if you average it out, for the average solo player.

    The point is: we are forced to spend hours in bgs (leading to afkers / griefers) thanks to these amazing quest designs (: --> Bgs become boring AF (ppl doing quests aren't even trying to win) and Onyxia players get unhappy because of it.

    Less quests in BGS --> More qualitative bgs --> More arena activity --> Onyxia Happy / Blackrock Happy

    Consider meeting us halfway here.. You are slowly killing arenas with the current system but the realm has so much potential.

  6. Not to mention in regular servers people can join a raid in the middle and kill the boss he wants or extend the save 1 week if they wanna reach final boss but have no time. While we are forced to a linear insanely long path. As I stated before I haven't been able to do the entire quest chain yet. I parse +90 and Im +2k4 pvp experienced. Quests have a bad design and need to be fixed. I played +48 hours on one char (12 hour/week) playtime aprox and was impossible to get his quests done. Meanwhile Ony guys need max 4 hours to get full kara run in case they bad as ****, including preparing for raid and farming, not to mention snowball gear effect, quests should be easier each week to compensate that.

    Quests are boring chore and Onyxia is a better pick so far, I already started playing Ony since we also are in a 20-30% dissavantage since no professions avaliable. You can skip all pve content if u like and at least get professions you will have a huge advantage over any blackrock character.

    So true, soloq is dead as **** and 2v2 also is pretty dead, Im finding same team game after game

    i did the chain on 4 characters on wednesday/today (thursday) up to 2s 10 wins and started 5th, already on eots 5 hk quests. not sure what you guys are doing honestly

  11. This. 4% drop rate on Magtheridon ring is insane, especially considering that it is a 1 boss raid... It's also not taking into account that some people in Onyxia raids will already have the ring or simply don't need it for their gear set

    do you work or are u ill? Cause thats literally impossible, not to mention things like get 2v2 wins depend on your partners and soloq quest needs evenings so its literally impossible to get there in 24-48hours. Only someone who just plays and leaves his 2v2 team often can have a small chance of doing this and he has to take it like his work to do it, and you need to reach soloq quest before evenings so you can do it in peak time or your queue will be insanely long and only find empty matches from afkers.

    So or you are not a good representative player (100% time dedication to the game not a good example) or your just lying.

I'd really have thought it went without saying, but Blackrock is cross-server'd with Onyxia for the purpose of increasing the player pool available for PvP and reducing queue times by having them counterbalance faction imbalances in the queued people. That's why the server has always on Mercenary Mode. Onyxia gets shorter Battleground queues, Blackrock gets more people to play against. Aside how easier it would be to abuse arena quests, it should be obvious why more quests involve Battlegrounds. There would be close to no point in the cross-server if the focus was on arenas.

    Regarding this fable that Onyxia requires less effort, let's even ignore the absurdity that is assuming every single player would be able to have a group to complete raids with. How would you feel about randomly receiving one of the following messages - among the many others that would fit - when you went to get a new piece of gear?

    "Your group successfully cleared the raid, congratulations! Unfortunately, someone else beat you in the GDKP. Better luck next week!"

    "The raid is over, well done! But you're a new member of the guild, so an older member got the item you wanted. Stick around a couple months and that might be you, though!"

    "Yes, there's the winning roll for you... wait, what just happened? Oh no, the raid leader ninja'd your item! Ah well, maybe next week it doesn't happen, chin up!"
    You should ask Onyxia players how they feel about the quests. Half of them result in toxic game player and people focusing on the quest and not winning the BG.

    It's been mentioned somewhere before, but quests like 'win 5 eots' would be significantly better than capping flags or 5hks in seconds, as currently these quests are having a significantly negative impact on Onyxia players enjoyment.

    Just watch any AB, EotS or WSG where people have quests that involve them achieving something as opposed to the team winning.

  15. You should ask Onyxia players how they feel about the quests. Half of them result in toxic game player and people focusing on the quest and not winning the BG.
    Onyxia players by default feel they don't want any contact with Blackrock at all, quests or no quests, usually because they believe they would have fast queue times anyway, which we have data to know is unfortunately incorrect.

    It's always possible that the goal of some quests will be changed to something different, and I'm pretty sure actually good suggestions for that would be listened. Just don't expect them to move from Battlegrounds to Arena - I already covered why there's a focus on that, not going to do it again - or not be time consuming. If something was changed for an easier task, expect the amount of repetitions to be much higher, for example.

    There will always be ****ty players with undesirable mentalities, it's just something that we have to accept.
