They accidentally deleted names, even for accounts that had logged in recently, so they had to undo the changes. Take a look at this screenshot I took of my Barracks—it shows toons I logged into this year, where the names were removed (and have now been restored):

Brotha, whatcha mean on me? I got a few names reserved them, went afk to do irl responsibility and came back to **** being reverted. Thats kinda on warmanes end not me.. Theres people holding names for years and never seeing the light of day ever again which is messed up and now that I wanna reserve one its my fault?

Warmane does not follow it's own announcements, terms and conditions.
I had many names deleted on chars that definitely been logged THIS exact month.
Not a year ago, not just this year, but THIS month.

I've been flagged for a rename and it claims my name is taken even if it's not. Proved by the fact that after I changed a name, I could take the previous name on another character. I would like keep my name on this character quite badly, what do?

Ehmmm, my hunter name, DK, and horde druid names been lost, i cannot enter with them, only if i change their names, i changed my dk name because is my miner and alt player, but i dont want to change my hunter name, thats my main player together with other druid i have, My hunter name is Demonshooter, but if i want to put that that name again it tells me i cannot, last time i played my hunter was on december 29 2024. The druid i have to rename is Lakarpita and i dont want to rename him too, and last time i played that druid was on december 6.

Even inside the game and on the armory, they have their names on, but when i try to enter it tells me that i have to change their names, i put the same names they have, but it tells me that those names are unavailable

Unfortunately I don't think they are going to do anything about name changes / people renaming their character and then another maintenance happening and it reverting back to whoever the original owners were. Sucks I wish they would of just kept the change but I understand at the exact same time why they wouldn't allow that as then when next year comes around, what happens if that happens to you with a loved name. But still I don't appreciate either people holding onto names for a really long time either and watching them rot away. If only there is a better system

I can imagine how hard it's being for db maintainers. Sucks for this to happen. We are awaiting a post from staff to understand the current situation and what's going to happen.

So when do AH prices typically reflect the gold squish? I'm seeing the same prices and in some cases, a price increase.. and after being left with little gold, I can't afford the necessary items to level my professions (and I can't farm them with my own professions). Will the AH prices go down, or is this it? This is my first character in Warmane so I'm very ignorant about all this.

My Icecrown character was logged in last time in December 2024 and was flagged for rename. I hope it will be reverted and the name assigned back to me.
My other chars were logged in yesterday and were all gucci.
Your db query should use datediff from current date instead of logintime > 20250101 because it's easy to mistake for 20240101 that I guess was the intended value.
