Are you guys sure, that Shadowfrost shard drop rate is them same as it should be? I think there is pretty messed up something with the drop rate. Its because of Shadowmourne 150 point store price or whats happening?

Short answer? Possibly, but they will never admit it.
Long answer? it's a perception thing, you can see the % droprate on wowhead and you will see 20% on this boss and 60% on that boss and so on, but you could possibly be cursed and never have it dropped, thus the nature of RNG shows it's ugly head.
Now, would I tinker with the droprate to force the hand of those with thick wallets to buy the Smourne instead of farming it? Yes. Servers are expensive and salaries too, you can't pay an employee with gold.
Is Warmane lowering the Drop % of Shadowfrost Shards? I Have no ****ing idea, it would make sense if they did, but also a person who has the cash but not the time will always buy the smourne instead of farming it. And a person who doesn't have the money will farm it always.
Moreover, if they changed it or not, nobody would believe they didn't. Because you tend to remember all the times that it didn't drop, instead of the ones that did. if the Lead Dev showed you the code for the shadowfrostshard %drop and it was exactly the same as it is in wowhead, people would still claim that it was a fake.

I know things about RNG, etc... but one fact is, the droprate was higher past months/years. Its confirmed by lot of people. I am not tend remember all times that it didnt drop, problem is this is not only one topic about it, so there should be something true about messing with droprate. Anyway if dev show the code, that doesnt mean its the same code active already in database.

The same as retail, or the same Warmane has kept it in as?
I keep thinking there was a mention or a statement made by a staff member that the SFS drop rates were lower. It's to avoid SM being too prevalent and as quickly obtainable as in retail citing how Warmane realms are stuck in 3.3.5. In retail people had limited time to obtain SM before it became just an item of previous expansion when Cataclysm released.

The same as we have always had. And yes, that has been said before and is correct. In retail that weapon was easier to farm, but made obsolete very soon with Cataclysm, while in here it will remain best-in-slot for all the classes than can use it. Keeping it as easy to farm as in the original release just wouldn't work, anyone with common sense should be able to understand that.
