WotLK Icecrown auction house got deleted, all items are gone after the last reset

Affirmative. The problem is not solved. All missing items (100k +) have not been returned. Opened a ticket from all accounts - complete silence. And yes, I'm a vip. Really, who cares?

I had about 40 recovered items in my mail about 5hours ago, I'm fairly sure it was items that I didn't repost this morning but the ones I did repost r still missing, almost 100k worth of items to so it's a conciderable amount for me.

the same problem. I reposted ~600 auctions of low-level boes with one of my trading slaves, and only ~400 of them I got back. I don't care too much about them, but I have toons that run 80 crafted boes (I always keep abot 300 of them) and I don't even remember how many I had before the accident. So probably players, who keep ah flooded with their items, lost much

The realm crashed at an inopportune moment, just as the Auction House items were being refreshed. Our realm’s instability is exceptionally rare, and such crashes are unexpected. Unfortunately, we lacked the necessary precautions for this kind of eventuality.

We’ve managed to restore approximately 80% of all items and currency, but unfortunately, about 20% remain unrecoverable. This is because there was a complete data loss for this portion due to the technical error or crash.

Crashes are unforeseen and something we strive to avoid at all costs. If you’ve been playing our servers for an extended period, you’ll know that such occurrences are exceptionally rare on our realms.

Unfortunately, in cases like this, the handling is similar to if you won an item from a boss and the realm crashed. Since we can’t verify that you had the item in your inventory by cross-comparing it with our database, we’re unable to restore it. The same applies to this loss; unfortunately, we’re unable to restore those items.

We have made every effort to restore what we can, and we sincerely apologize for this error. To prevent such an incident from happening again, precautions and protections have been implemented in the code.
