I was planning to start playing WoW Wotlk again with my friends, who used to play a lot on this server, but today when I logged in, I found that all my characters had disappeared.
I had at least four level 80 characters, one of them with 6.4KGS and several achievements such as Light of Dawn and Feats of Strength from Invencible Rein's mount, which I had obtained on my first kill from Lick King 25man HC.
My colleagues, who stopped playing at the same time as me, still have their characters active, but with different nicknames.
Can you please help me? I want to return to the game, but losing all my progress really discourages me.
My main character's name was Onetreeheals, a Night Elf Druid on the Ice Crown server.
I look forward for any help, or conatct by the admins if possible.
Max level characters aren't deleted by Warmane. If a max level character is gone, it's done by the hands of a player. If you're certain you logged the right account and it doesn't have your level 80 character on the realm it should be in, it's deleted by a player.
That's not true.
2 buddies logged into their accounts after years and their chars are gone. Not only they were 80, but they had much playing time (one was 6200+ gs)
Plus, there is no function in the site in order to request a character restore.

I said by "a player," that doesn't equal to account owner by the way. The account(s) may have been compromised by sharing login info, re-using username and passwords, maybe phished by scam that promised free/cheap coins etc.
It's also possible that returning players forgot which account actually had their characters, or which realm they were on. Worse is if they played on Frostmourne and didn't transfer their characters to Icecrown.
On a side note: It seems OP found his character again, as the druid has achievement activity after they made the post.
