1. On the other hand, the same logic some are using to reply to Palutena ("why would we say anything when we liked the date?") should apply now, shouldn't it? And we had over 2000 people active in the Forum within the last few minutes.
Before i reached that topic and post, you already changed the date before i had time to tell that previous date was perfect.

  2. The original date was perfect for the majority of the server, but you gave in to about 20 people from one guild without asking the rest. People had their vacations planned exactly for the first date — you ruined it with the delay. Big mistake.

  3. A Message from a Disheartened Member of the Community of 14 years.

Over the years, many of us have stood by this community and its development team — through highs, lows, and everything in between. We’ve offered feedback, support, and patience, always believing that lessons would be learned, mistakes would be acknowledged, and the direction of the project would begin to reflect the voices of those who care most deeply about it.

Unfortunately, it has become painfully clear that little of that trust has been repaid. Time and again, the same missteps are repeated: decisions made on impulse, projects launched without true community involvement, and promises of improvement that never materialize. It feels as though the lessons from past failures are not being learned — or worse, not even being listened to.

What’s most disheartening isn’t just the lack of progress, but the growing sense that the community’s voice — the very foundation of this project — no longer matters. The disconnect between the developers and the players has never felt wider. And with every unconsulted change, every ignored suggestion, and every tone-deaf announcement, that gap only deepens.

We don’t expect perfection. What we’ve always hoped for is transparency, communication, and collaboration — a genuine effort to listen and improve with the community, not in spite of it. But after years of unheeded feedback and broken trust, disappointment has become the norm.

It’s heartbreaking to say, but the community that once felt like a shared passion now feels like an afterthought. Until there is meaningful change — until listening replaces guessing, and genuine dialogue replaces one-sided decision-making — the damage to this relationship will only continue to grow.

We are not angry out of hate. We are disappointed out of love — because we know what this could have been, and still could be, if only those in charge truly listened.
True & Real; every discord saying this too, inb4 its deleted

  4. Wtf? Wotlk retail values? It was fun while It lasted

  5. The original date was perfect for the majority of the server, but you gave in to about 20 people from one guild without asking the rest. People had their vacations planned exactly for the first date — you ruined it with the delay. Big mistake.
You had your whole vacation planned in a matter of a couple hours after the thread went up?
If you're that skilled in vacation planning, changing the plans to a different date should be a piece of cake.

  6. When I saw the first realease dates, I was so happy, perfect timing, most of warmane player base work and have weeks off for christmas, now it s so bad ... I will have to lvl to 80 while I m working ? 1 hour a day ? Because of the comments of ******ed minority ... But wait I still can pvp and farm brutal gear during prepatch ? At least some thing fun to do ? Noo no no brutal gear tu buy .... Thanks warmane to this awful new release dates ....

  7. Polls are easily rigged, as can be seen by the posts that came complain about the change. You have a vocal minority trying to appear big by complaining in a block, while the vast majority of players just isn't coming to make any posts.

On the other hand, the same logic some are using to reply to Palutena ("why would we say anything when we liked the date?") should apply now, shouldn't it? And we had over 2000 people active in the Forum within the last few minutes.
You guys keep talking about trolls and the minority. It's just ridiculous. Do you have any data to support your claims? Looking at where this thread and the Discord channel are going, you literally called everyone a troll or part of the minority, yet it's clear that these people are actually the majority.

If you can't run a survey or poll properly, then have the courage to admit it instead of blaming trolls for skewing the results. Prevent troll involvement! For example, only allow votes from accounts with a level 70 character, or impose conditions like being online for the last 30 days. There are countless ways to run the survey close to perfectly. Instead, you keep guarding the idea that your active community is made up of trolls or a minority.

Having an open survey for just one week and then sharing the results would instill confidence in your decisions. Right now, Warmane is acting based on gut feelings.

  8. Survey conditions:

    - verfied account
    - 2 factor auth is enabled
    - at least 1 char 70 lvl
    - last online within 30 days

    gg

  9. However, there’s one reason I totally understand. In this post — https://forum.warmane.com/showthread...=1#post3268086 — @Palutena said, “Staff to have some sparing time during holidays,” and that’s quite clear and honest.

If the decision is based on staff needing some free time during the holiday period instead of rushing bug fixes, that’s understandable. After all, we’re all human beings.

But please, stop pretending that it’s somehow better for the majority of the community to postpone it. Seriously. Have the guts to admit it — you’re doing it for yourselves, not for us.

  11. No one in the Staff brought up changing the dates for their personal sake. It might be incidentally better for some, but that wasn't related to the internal talks. Get over yourself.

  12. No, the reason we are "receiving a lot of backlash" is that the few of people who had been trying to smoother any players wanting a later release (and I don't mean just in this thread) got their guilds and alts to come add numbers.
So you refuse a poll as it wont go in favour of the 2 guild (50 players) who are crying; "interesting"

and ignore this very thread; everyone's commenting in discords not on forums, what do we send our guild to spam the same message in the forums? like don't understand why there isn't a poll this is actual madness, and its not even sparta.

Sure. Let's go along with your idea of a poll.
First of all, we need to give a month of prior notice. After all, if we're going the democratic route -- EVERYONE needs a chance to get to vote, and we will have to announce there's a poll coming so that everyone can acknowledge it. The poll would start at the 10th of december.
Then we give the people a week to cast their votes. By december 17th, the poll closes and then the final decision is made. And then, pre-patch starts a few days later, december 22th.

    Would that make you happy?

  14. Will the content difficulty ever be re-evaluated, or is it final and staying at retail values (Icecrown)?
