Has there been any discussion in the Developer Team, that lead you decide to keep the s4 gear locked behind arena points till s5? because on classic wotlk launch, blizzard said, that was one of their biggest mistakes from back in the day, that they wanna fix, because it gives an incentive to actually play the pre-patch and be rewarded with an easier leveling, just a thought tho, cheers.
A good idea to implement cross-realm to increase PvP activity, but on Blackrock, top-tier PvE gear should not be given out from lootboxes or for honor, because people with Onyxia farm it honestly for several months, while any random from Blackrock can simply get any BIS in a day.
Just prohibit PvE equipment on Blackrock—this will create balance within the battlegroup.
Yes, there seems to be no point in starting if the guys at blackrock get these things for a conditional bg farm, and we have to die in caves for weeks in order to get some kind of 213 ilvl ring with a micro probability. It's easier to play on blackrock right away, but with this scenario, it's better not to play at all.
You guys don't seem to understand how Blackrock works. The loot is not free at all. It is not accessible to everyone. Just like raiding you have to meet certain requirements and grind actually for longer periods than anyone raiding on Onyxia. The loot only has a probability of dropping from the boxes that matches what a player raiding would experience.
Blackrock follows the progression of Onyxia. This means the gear they start with and what's available matches the phase that Onyxia is currently playing. On character creation, a Blackrock player is simply a body to fill a queue spot. To be competitive, that Blackrock player actually has to earn arena gear just like Onyxia does and play skillfully to get anywhere.
I play on Onyxia and I can tell you having raided this past year at an average level that I was able to easily stay on par with anyone in PvP. Not that you would need to have full BIS anyway to be a serious competitor, at a certain level it comes down to skill.

It is precisely you who do not understand/ do not want to understand the essence of the problem that they are trying to convey to you. On blackrock, PVE abuz is obtained by pharma bg obtaining a conditional 1600 rating in the arena. To get a similar PVE abuz on onyxia and be competitive on the same 1600, you need to go to caves for weeks and you have to be very lucky to get what you really need.
Therefore, the solution is to raise the requirements for CVE items on blackrock to a conditional 2000-2200 rating, and for 1600 to leave available those that are mined on onyxia from 5 ppl caves.
so I'm kind of confused, the prepatch launches on monday 10:00 ST or the server goes off at 10:00 and then the prepatch stuff unlocks?
It literally says when you read the thread "">*There will be no downtime; content unlocks at the time above. Prepare yourselves for the final trials, raids, and rewards.*<""

Caves.... dude what lol?
But no, the lock boxes on Blackrock only have a chance of dropping the items so Blackrock players also have to farm for weeks or get lucky. The current phase content lock boxes do have a high requirement to obtain. I don't know why you're talking about 5 mans, we're in Sunwell phase.
Dear Warmane staff.
First of all thanks for your work, sometimes appreciation words are forgotten.
Is there any chance to move DMF date? With the new scheduled dates the journey through Northrend starts exactly the same date DMF ends, this will leave 99% players without their Greatness card for the first raiding month.
I think all players with no exceptions will agree with a change like this.
¿Are there plans to release Ulduar gear with classic values? Ulduar is the raid most progressive wotlk players enjoy and get updated values would be highly appreciated since Ulduar become irrelevant as soon as TOC release.
Thanks in advance for the time hearing your Community Warmane staff.
When Prepatch release, will Naaru and adal title sitl obtainable?
It shouldn't be available anymore. If it follows the original game then a new quest id will replace Vials of Eternity quest and Cudgel of Kardesh quest leading to these titles.
In theory though you can pick up the old quest id version of these quests before pre-patch starts and you should be able to complete these quests later on.

Not enough time on launch day to pull it off. It will be available two weeks after raid release. That should give an adequate amount of time for the economy around materials to establish and those selling will have lots of competition so prices will be driven down. I think that's better than having the first players race to sell and price gouging only to have the super rich be able to obtain it.
Just wanna say, thanks for all of your work Warmane team. WOTLK was the first expansion I was a player for and I'm hyped to relive that launch, 'cause i was a child back then and didn't do anything right lol
Frostmourne had three seasons, idk why so many people complaining like this is the first time they will have a fresh wotlk start, the staff knows what they are doing.
