Will S3 arena gear be available for honor during prepatch? I did not find them at any of the vendors with my DK.

This ain't like tbc-wotlk was back on retail.... for some reasson, warmane decided not to give people brutal gladiator for honor and also decided not to let us exchange the remaining BG Marks exchange for honor like it was back on wotlk retal or classic wotlk...i am disappointed.

That's from Classic.
S4 wasn't available for honor in original release. They only had new 156 item level cloaks and trinkets available. Haven't checked if they even added those though.
Although that's something Blizzard corrected in Classic for several reasons. It vastly improves the game experience moving into Wrath. It definitely should be that way. No different than last year. I figured players would show up complaining about it.

well, i didnt play that much tbc back in retail wotlk. i joined wow when tbc was near its end and i played pve. Thought Brutal Gladiator was up for grabbing for honor points like i see nowadays. It is a waste not to be available for honor points before wotlk arrives , anyway, thanks for your answer!

If it was like that and Warmane just did not want us to get them, your sentance "this is not classic" would make no sense, since this is supossed (Warmane) to be like tbc-wotlk was back on retail.

Looks like an AI response from Google. And it isn't technically wrong because it did eventually become available in original wotlk near the end of the expansion. You can see it available from the Outland vendors on the other wotlk realms here. Just wasn't available during pre-patch because Blizzard felt like it would devalue the items and make them less unique. Nowadays though the game has been played a million times over, the gear isn't that interesting anymore.

Correct, but i guess we won't get it even near the end of expansion, since this is a privet server, even if this is supossed to be blizzlike. Regarding what u say " it isn't that interesting anymore", it's debatable

Removal of arena rating for old pvp sets was done in cataclysm prepatch, not in wotlk.

The concern was understandable at the time. End game wasn't easily accessible back in those days. Sunwell and S4 was no joke. Only top tier players made it into Sunwell at all and S4 weapon and shoulders were a serious accomplishment. You look at the present though and everybody and their dog can achieve these things. That's the difference.
To put it into perspective back then there were like five warglaives on my whole server. I'd guess that here on Onyxia there are over 500 easy. There's no prestige to the items anymore. It's just a tool these days to do damage.

What happens to the honor I had before the patch? Currently, it shows 0 honor. Will it stay that way? Or will the honor be restored?
