WotLK XP Boosting no longer available?

I decided to boost my alt to get it to level 80 faster, and noticed that I get like 210 experience from monsters that I was getting 1800-2000 previously on another alt? Does that mean that we can no longer boost our characters?

Getting that much xp from monsters you overleveled was a bug, which got fixed.

Was a serious question. Boosting worked for years and i don't wanna waste 20 coins for that, even tho donated just last month for premium on alt account.
