the same thing happened to me, this sucks,
i renamed my toon 2 weeks ago, created a new char and saved my main name, was going to rename another toon maybe this week, was waiting to get the points FFS, now a random dude has my name on a naked DK, just as inventory, this is not fair at all, and my account is premium, premium accounts shouldnt get their names removed, or at least supporter+ rank accountss.........

Dude being new on the server (like a week new to the server) grinding and being 300 gold away from the 5000 mark to buy the fast riding skill and logging in and seeing half my gold gone hurts!!! Now can you think of something??
I could go and buy **** with the money and after the halving sell those and get the gold back,most of it at least....

You stole my money that I worked hard to earn by mining ore and selling it. I spent a lot of time on it. I wanted to build myself a motorcycle with that money, and I already had enough, but you stole it from me! I had 12,000, and with my profession it was enough to buy the ingredients for the motorcycle. One pipe costs 1,000 from the vendor, and I need 8 of them, plus one part that costs 3,000. The trader’s price didn’t drop by 50%, but you took 50% from me!

They delete all auctions postals which was in the postal this was like 130k gold and dont half it they delte it completly, for me at this point i never play after 10 years here again. that is disgusting

In a way it makes some sense to do an annual squish to keep the economy / inflation in check (especially the whales are the big contributors to this), but in the same time they should squish the Coin prices as well for a limited time, ofc of which they'll never do. Since I can easily imagine that after the squish many players will run and "rage buy" coins (Donate) to fill up their losses, and that real money income is good for the....highly esteemed server staff (hope you all felt the sarcasm in there)
