3 Players with 15 Chars Dominating BGs – How Are We Supposed to Play?
Hey Warmane community,
On Icecrown, the same 3 player groups keep flooding WG, AV, and IoC battlegrounds. Each one controls 5 characters, totaling 15 players dominating the games. In 40-man BGs, that's over a third of the teams – they stall forever, farming honor/resources without letting anyone win. Queues barely pop, and no one has fun.
This is poisoning the game:
Veteran players are quitting in droves. Long-time farmers are fed up, canceling subs and leaving – server pop is tanking.
New players get no joy and bail immediately. Fresh faces queue up, smash into this 15-char army, and log off thinking "what's this crap?"
The end result? The server is dying slowly. No vets, no new blood sticking around. If this keeps going, Icecrown's fate is sealed: empty queues, ghost town. Please GM team, look into it – add limits or check fairness. We all deserve a balanced PvP!
I'm curious about this "tanking population" when Onyxia and Icecrown are at their player cap of 12000, but what really got me wanting you to tell more is about all these people canceling their subscriptions. Do you have some figures? Maybe some people who canceled as examples?
Cap full yes, but PvP active pop tanking – queues pop but stalls kill fun, vets quitting. No figures, but forum quits everywhere: Wintergrasp "quitting for a year", BGs worst "people leaving". Join the call for change!
The server looks packed online, but PvP fun is gone and vets are quitting – full cap doesn't mean everything is progressing perfectly. Why ignore so many complaints when the real player experience matters most ?
No, you said "canceling subs." Where are these canceled subscriptions?
And if 24000 people in two servers for the overwhelming majority - according to you - don't want to play Battlegrounds, what's the issue?
No traditional subs here (donation-based), but vets quitting PvP is all over the forum: "quitting for a year" in Wintergrasp threads, "PvP dying" complaints everywhere.
Full pop (24k) but BGs unplayable due to stalls/farm – queues pop, fun doesn't. If the majority "don't want BGs," why do queues exist but games never end? Player experience matters – complaints aren't for nothing.
Yeah, people have been saying that same sort of stuff for over a decade.
The servers have shut down hundreds of times, the population was 20 people thousands of times, <insert poster's favorite game style> has been dead here since before the server started, etc, etc.
Go play Dark Souls one time through and then come back here and see if you complain about getting killed or beat in a video game.
That's the whole point. You don't call up the creator of Dark Souls and whine how it's too hard and unfair and make them tone it down for you. You try again and learn how to beat the challenge.
This is in fact the game. Multiboxing is allowed. Premades are allowed. They always were. Apparently you weren't around in the days of actual multiboxer armies. And buddy we did deal with those and the game did not die. Try 40 boomkins and then you can complain lol.
It's not mbox itself, it's mboxers queuing AV/IoC, holding players hostage in GY farms for 2 hours straight. RBG queues explode, dumping everyone into their endless HK stall fest. You clearly don't get it and are just bootlicking in the forums
"Since when do we defend mbox stacks dominating BGs then HK/GY farming for 2hrs straight? Not my problem—drop from 6hr sessions to 1hr, skip BGs done. But newbies? Queue for HK farms, get thrown into mbox zerg hell: Endless respawns in the same GY, dying clueless for 2hrs. Then ragequit PvP for PvE forever. See it from new players' view ffs—this stall meta's murdering Warmane PvP!

Other people do it too, and I'd say MB's are a drop in that bucketful of water.
Even if there were 100 players complaining about MB's here on forum over the years. That 100 out of let's say 20k online players, is a mere 0.5% of the players that just have happened to login at this moment. That's not much, not much at all.

Are you sure you're talking about PvP ?? Your "only 0.5% complain" logic doesn't save PvP quality. New players queue, get GY farmed for 2 hours, then quit PvP for PvE forever. That's not "not a problem".

"0.5% cope is straight BS—Warmane Mbox peaks at 5-7k online (official graphs), but BG/PvP pop is tiny: Forums flooded w/ 'AV/IoC dead, PvP dying, premade/mbox 2hr stalls' (hundreds of threads/posts).
Queues balloon, vets quit, newbies GY farmed to PvE—BG actives are <5-10% of total pop. 0.5% complaints = 99.5% happy? Liar!

I very clearly understand it. What you're saying is allowed plain and simple. The people you're arguing against right now have the actual numbers. That makes you the uneducated one in the room.
Such complaints have came and gone time and again. It's not new information. It wasn't new information a decade ago. And the game still won't change. Long time players knew you could always do these things and they themselves have done it. New players aren't even in the bracket.
Anyway welcome to random battlegrounds. Where you're allowed to spam free action potions and camp graveyards to oblivion and build indestructible premades if you feel like it or just complain that Horde/Alliance/Blackrock are too overpowered or whatever. That's World of Warcraft. You want some structure and competitive PvP then there's arena. If you don't like it then there's the door, go find another game.

"Cut the empty commentary already, little bro. Stick to your own corner of the internet, drop some comments on a relevant post, and maybe you'll actually get some attention—but I seriously doubt it, little bro , You clearly still have no idea what the discussion is even about."
