Hi, I also play on MacOS sometimes (MacBook Air M1 2020). I use the free Virtual Fusion Pro and run classic Win11 on it. This basic laptop handles it fine as long as there aren't too many players in one place. So it's suitable for auctions, material draws, etc.

Thanks for your installation guide. I have a mac mini m4 (base model) and have since done all that was listed in your guide. However, on the retrieving character phase, I eno****er the error 132 that crashes the game and prompts the dialog box:
ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal Exception
Program: Z:UsersdanyawDocumentsUnlimitedWoWWow.exe
Exception: 0xC000001D (ILLEGAL_INSTRUCTION) at 1007:055B1917
Would you have any thoughts on how to fix this?

This guide is for Intel Macs. This will not work on Apple Silicon Macs.

True it is for Intel. For Silicon I only managed to get it working with Crossover - patched DLL and EXE from this thread but with 2-5 FPS in sw or dala. It sucks hard tbh, which is pretty sad. Oiginal WoW client is running like a truck on my mac - better performance then my old gaming pc had.
Is there anyplan to create a mac native client? Is it even possible? I mean since modern wow works on macos, i assume it is?

You can play it using a Windows ARM virtual machine. Performance is "playable".

Mhhhh okay, I will check that maybe. "playable" is better then 2-5 FPS with lowest graphic settings. If I have a new solution I'll share it with you :)

tbh I made it work for now, atleast I have good performance and all. But entcountered an nasty bug .... I guess i already saw your post about the patched wow.exe you are using. Now if I have "hordware curser" activated, as soon as I rightclick and hold to move my camera, it just goes crazy. Same for walking while holding left and right mouse button. Downloaded the exe you mentioned in one post, renamed it, but I have the same issue.
Do you have any other suggestions about it? Tried alot of other solutions (DPI Rate change etc.), but nothing is working tbh. Deactivating hardware curser just is unplayable tbh :D

Just to make the same post here :) Your solution worked, the option to make is as following (in the newest version):
VM Ware Fusion
Settings > General > Gaming > Always optimize mouse for games

Hi i have a macOS 12+ Ventura (intel), i downloaded the game with Porting Kit and its fine, put all graphics settings to low and im able to play the game just fine but with low fps. Every 25-30 minutes of playing the game it crashes and i dont know how to fix it, i cant join heroic dungeons to gear up because when the game crashes iam kicked out of the group and get the dungeon "ban"for 30min.
( i saw in youtube a old video of someone downloading warmane to macOS with porting kit, very easy and it works)
