hello guys. i just cant understand how you can say that second stat as priority is haste. i had 1200 haste on my shaman and that did not help so much
Haste is the best when u have a long uptime on the target. All the theorycrafting programs assume that u have a 100% uptime on the boss which makes haste look more beneficial than it is in a real boss encounter.
Arp and AP should grant more dps in fights with a short uptime.
If I ever roll enh shami again ill most likely get a arp based gear.
With WF ICD and Lava Lash both working, an AP build should outperform an ArP one. The only damage source affected by ArP is Stormstrike, Windfury Weapon and melee.
DBW scales too high in RAWR says its creator. Here is what Levva says about it: "Please note I made a mistake in the calcs in v2.3.2 of Rawr.Enhance for the Deathbringer Trinket. I forgot that the trinket only procs one effect at a time and so the actual procs needed to be divided by 3 to get the correct stats value, plus I'd only added 600 AP not 1200 AP. All in all it changes it from a 550dps trinket to a 323 dps trinket. Sorry for getting your hopes up."

Thats good to know. Is there a other RAWR version that works better?
Switched DBW to HWT but the ARP build still seems to out dps the Elitistjerks haste gear.
Its worth to mention though that EnhSim provides different results than RAWR.
The Elitistjerks gear does there 13140 dps while the ARP gear does only 13004 dps.
EnhSim relative stat value with ARP gear:
AP: 1,0
Haste: 2,56
ARP: 2,01
EnhSim relative stat value with Elitistjerks gear:
AP: 1,0
Haste: 2,23
ARP: 1,80
So according to EnhSim haste is always the best stat and ARP only outperforms AP when u have a high amount of ARP on ur gear.
Nevertheless its hard to say which gear combination would be better in a real boss encounter. EnhSim assumes that u are in a static battle with 100% uptime on the boss. A real boss fight isnt static, u often have to move and u wont have 100% uptime on the boss. Thats why I say that in a boss encounters where a lot of movement is involved a ARP based gear might outperform a haste based gear.

So the ICD exists and works so there are actual haste caps worth aiming for?
I can definitely recall a time where WF didn`t have an ICD at all.
Just think about it for a second:
A windfury proc causes two extra weapon swings. Means if WF had no ICD a windfury proc would have a 2x20% = 40% chance to proc windfury from itself which could end up in a crazy WF chain proc.
In addition WF offhand would also have a chance to cause such chain procs.
Having no ICD would make it possible to global enemys and would make Enh shami overpowered as f***.
Enh shami had never ever such a bug on molten.
I already tested the ICD of WF a long time ago when Warsong was a wotlk pvp realm.
Even at that time WF main and offhand shared a ICD of 3 seconds so everything worked fine.
The bug on the old core was that a WF offhand proc dealed the same dmg like a main hand proc (it should deal only like half the dmg of a main hand proc).
No idea why ppl keep coming up with this "buggy ICD" nonsense.

Oh, there was or something pretty similar. WF could proc off itself and then went on icd or had no icd at all (not sure about that one, but I remember 5+ times procs off single aa were not that rare). Talking about Ragnaros cca 2011-2013, warsong always had a different core. Highly irrelevant atm though.
2) When you say 'crit past cap' in the priority list, what does that mean? What is the "cap" ?
4) Why is Agility not on the list?
3) In the stat priority, why is crit listed twice?
1) Lazy answer: According to priority list -> cap hit/expertise then haste, once you have a lot of gear (4t10 264) switch to AP gems.
Better answer: get rawr and gem according to statweights it shows you.
2) Crit cap is the amount of crit after which it no longer increases your auto-attack crit chance. It changes depending on how much hit and expertise you have. Exact formula is as follows: Maximum Critical Chance (MCC) = 76 (= 100 - glancing blow chance = 24) – (Chance to be Dodged = 0 @26 expertise) - (Chance to be Parried = 0 when attacking from behind) – (Chance to Miss = 27 + your meele hit chance - don't forget talents) + 4.8 - this value is supposed crit suppression -> it is unsure if it works or not
Note that crit cap used to be bugged for years here (crit past cap used to lower glancing blow chance, which should be 24% all the time), it is fixed now - so ignore any mention about crit past cap.
3) Crit cap affects the relative value of crit to other stats. It's value used to go up, now it goes down.
4) Agility can be converted to crit and attack power.
guy for ench main hand and off hand better use wf for both or use wf for main and flam for offhand? i see on bugtracker flam on offhand not any more bug and lava lash deal more damage when its active on offhand . so what u say?

Always WF for main and FT for offhand.
Double WF is only for leveling viable and even then WF/FT is usually better.
