I think its cos Mericans cant navigate so straight lines makes living easy.

They are Caucasian. normally a golden to olive tone. Blue eyes or Brown, Blonde hair or black. Standard europeans with a muddle of slav and mediterranean.

I googled Balkan on wikitravel and wow. I always liked medieval slav stuff and they have a lot of castles and preserved towns.
