Butkus. Idk how else to put this man but you keep ignoring this point. Trinkets like berserkers call do not have the type of impact that you're suggesting they do.

A 2200 rated player without berserkers call will beat a 1800 player with berserkers call 100/100 games.

You're acting like these trinkets are going to be obtained instantly by blackrock players (they won't, read the Mod posts), and will make games impossible to win for people who don't have trinkets (this is just so far beyond what is actually the case).

Actually, Butkus, I'm not even trying to be rude or anything here. But do you know what an arena point flush is? I think there may be a misunderstanding on your end of how arena points and these trinkets are obtained. You can't just grind out full bis in a day, that's not how TBC works.

Pardon my ignorance perhaps, but then what exactly is the point of having a Blackrock TBC realm? Is it only to balance out the PVP activity which we genuinely don't have a fair gauge of yet? I actually don't think we could use any period in Onyxia's history as a fair gauge of PVP activity due to the ranking system. The only other reason I can see is so people who want to purely PVP don't have to do any PVE, which I did not realize was a priority. FWIW everyone in our guild is excited for arenas but as has been stated before nobody really cares about doing PVP right now aside from gearing alts through the mind-numbing honor farm and reward from Call to Arms.

I've read the entire thread and understand the staff's points, but still -1 to this idea from me. I'd much rather prove we do need it than have to prove we don't -- when looking for a result it's easy to see the result you desire.



IMO the point of using some of the PVE items in PVP is that they ARE rare.

person 1 goes to college full time his mom and dad are paying for his school 100%.. person 1 does not need to work 40+ hours per week or take care of kids.. just go to school study and play sports...

person 2- is also going to the same college but person 2 has to pay his way on his own for college 100%.. person #2 also has to work 40+ a week to pay for his apartment.. between work and school person #2 does not have time to party or play sports...

blackrock and onxyia...

walking up to a vendor and buying zker's call for honor/ap on blackrock is 100% different then players on onxyia having to TRY and farm zkers call in a raid..
that is not an equal playing field..

funny thing is you dont see/hear me complaining about how we gear currently on onxyia do you? we are all in the same boat.. but blackrock they will gear much different.. and thats the issue.

Yes, blackrock players love that idea. Even though it will take them weeks of flushes in order to get the item. In which time Onyxia players will have been raiding for weeks and will probably already have the item.

You are completely misinformed about the impact of these items in arena. You have this mindset that blackrock players will be full s1 PvP bis with all BiS trinkets in the first day. This is not the case, as Warmane staff has laid out for you already.

Even though they have laid that out for you, you still refuse to accept that answer because you're being territorial and stubborn. You asked your questions, you got the answers, stop asking the same questions. Provide new topics or input.

i mean you hardcore guys never q dodge.. stop qing at certain ratings/gear.. and never never cheat...never comp dependent.. the hordecore guys just play with their friends and not certain comps like MRP.

why would such hardcore pvpers want/need pve gear from vendors? cant get by with battlemasters trinkets?

its almost like one server has free short cut to gear that another servers does not..

what you said is going to happen with all sorts of gear and us on onxyia will miss out just from RNG in raids where blackrock players dont have that issue.

Make it as a opt-in for Onyxia players who wants cross-realm bgs and arenas with Blackrock.

Every character in Onyxia starts as a opted-out from cross-realm bgs and arenas with Blackrock!
And if someone wants to pvp with Blackrock realm they should opt-in on Warmane site or at certain npc in game (depends how Warmane devs make it).

Like this everyone will be happy!

because blizzard does not offer a public tournament realm with instant maximum level that is available throughout the year lmao. only for the duration of a tournament if they host one and blizzard employees have to manually grant your account access to it
