Cataclysm PvP: viable (pve) trinkets and or t13 setboni (enhancer)

The question is what will grant u more dmg:
Using pve weapons, pve trinket and stack resilience gems or using pve weapon, pvp trinket and stack agi gems.

I dont know. I dont have a enhance shami.

Imo http://cata.openwow.com/item=73648 sounds better because it has simply a higher items level, u gain more stats from it and u can control when to use it.

I also havent seen a reasonable explanation why http://cata.openwow.com/item=78002 is not viable for enhance.
If http://cata.openwow.com/item=78002 is such a good item for rog why not for enhance shami?
Can somebody elaborate this?

Because enhancement shamans work on MAGIC damage, all your talents are for increasing magic damage, your mastery is increasing magic damage.. Why would you use two trinkets which are physical damage when you can get matrix HC which is your ultimate BIS? Mastery is a straight damage increase.

A 17k physical attack with a 27s ICD is terrible for shamans. When matrix procs it is a huge mastery and direct damage output for 30s with a 1m15 downtime.
What hurts more? A 17k proc (which btw Is less than a windfury proc) or a 70k lava lash? Not to mention lighting bolt damage, no kaled damage, shock damage...

Any shaman using VoS or BLF have no understanding of how their class works and instead things they are a rogue.

the matrix trinket proccs ALL 3 stats ALL the time. atleast the last time i checked. seemed like the icd is missing. so the answer should be easy :D

It was fixed well over a year ago.
When I got mine just after DS release I was only getting my mastery proc..

I can't remember my 2009/2010 account info, that's why it says 2013 for me, but I remember when I played on WotLK back in it's first year. There was a Shadow Priest who did 250% more damage in raids than the number 2 damage dealer, just an atrociously insane amount. He was hardcore into PvE but hardly ever PvPed, but I remember doing Warsong Gulch with him and he would stand in bushes during the fights and single handedly wipe out the other team. I have no idea what the item was, but at the time there was a bugged trinket, and you could actually wear 2 of them at the same time. *the normal version, and the HC version* It wasn't considered by anybody to be one of the "good trinkets", and it dropped from a raid nobody ever bothered doing, so he was literally the only one who had figured it out. And since he only did raids with our small elite guild, not enough people noticed for it to ever catch on. I thought about doing it too, but wasn't sure if they would eventually start banning for something like that.

But anyways, had to have been fun while it lasted. *and it lasted a LONG time*

I get ur point here but the main stat for enhance shami is agility which increase both, magic and physical dmg.

It would be reasonable for me if a rog has significant more attack power than a enhance shami so a bone link fetish proc does more dmg for the rog but no idea if this is the case...

Nevertheless it might be the playstyle of rogs in pvp that makes bone link fetish more viable. While enhance shami does rather sustain dmg with a long uptime on the target the rog appears out of nowhere, attacks for a short time with a big burst and then disappears again. Bone link fetish is probably more beneficial for this bursty playstyle.

Agility doesnt increase magic damage persay. Mastery increases that alone with talents.
Mastery is equal to Agility in terms of stat priority. Hence why there are a LOT of BIS items of lower ilvl and agility for PvE due to the face mastery is a pure DPS increase overall.

Also note that Matrix HC has Agility on it AND mastery proc..... BLF/VOS is a ****ty physical damage which is a very minor dps increase over the exponential increase in damage when your Matrix procs.
