Agree it was the best thing to happen, but not because of Lord. Not all of us enjoy Wrath. But atleast it meant people where back out being active and farming gear again instead of just afking in Org/SW

That is a very good point. Sure, one of my characters is lvl 80 on Deathwing and I am still very active and see people out and about in the different zones of wow.

This happened long time ago and I am very surprised you brought it back. Trust me when I say that you did not feel the same pain/pressure whole staff had felt back when it happened. We tried our best to compensate everything lost and it's understandable that some people still were unhappy but bare in mind we lost our characters too (staff plays here too) and we have received same compensation as players.

._. I don't know a lot about GM powers but I do know that u got a command to level up to the cap of 255 and that you can spawn every single item in the game data's.... Sooo.... :S :P
Anyway, I don't know of Moltdown ended up being good or bad...would just love to see some more attention to frostwolf and some less to that ****ing lord server caaause #****Leveling. :P

I thought that option was taken from normal GMs and was only available to head GM and higher. Am I wrong? It's not about GMs not wanting to do it, even, It's more about they can't do it even if they wanted.

Normally, we're not at liberty to speak of such things, but no. You're not entirely correct. And even if you were, that's besides the point.
I'll clarify though.
GM powers are only used on and for GM characters. Staff members have normal accounts and characters which they play on with no powers, nor can they request the use of said powers to be used on them, and doing so without permission usually results in demotion or removal from the staff. On some rare occasions we can get coins as a bonus for our work, but otherwise, that's it. We take all of this very seriously.
I don't feel this contributes to the discussion. The thread should be about community members, not focusing on the staff.

That wipe thing that happened is actually a good thing.It opened eyes to many people that the characters they have lost have actually 0 value and it doesn't matter how good geared characters were it's just a video game on the end of the day.
I encourage those people who are still angry about not getting the right amount of payback for their lost characters to get even more angry.That way one day you will realize that you were angry about the most silly thing ever.
Trust me.You should come to play WoW to have fun and not build a life in it.
