1. That's not correct: On retail, 10 guilds did Yogg-Saron with 0 keepers alive before the nerfs of patch 3.2, rather than 1 guild. And yes, considering that the true hardmode would be Yogg-Saron with 0 keepers alive, it really didn't take guilds more than a month to defeat him with 1 alive. Sorry for phone-synthax!
Yogg+0 is a weird one to balance since a lot of guilds didn't care about it and didn't even try it untill it was killed, thus people with months and months of farmed gear killed it, even if it doesn't get buffed it will take forever to get killed

    That's bogus

  3. Well all it gave was a mount and an achiev (+title if realmfirst), so yeah, thats not really that motivating (`specially after the said realmfirst was taken already) considering that with thorim (or w/e it was that nuked down the adds) was so much easier

Hardmode loots are a fairly decent incentive.

  5. Still, we would go in into a raid that was implemented at 3.1, with talents of 3.3.5, if it left unbuffed it would be a joke, ulduar has to be at least as it was before the nerfs in 3.2, i do agree they can't buff as much as they did on naxx, at least 10% more hp is okay, less forgiving abilities, some bosses you can't really tune the phys damage.
There is no way we can tell how it's gonna be, it is up to the staff. they could do small nerfs every wed if no guilds are able to clear it.

1 keeper is enough for that, tho.

However good you are, this just isn't true. Yogg-0 is one of the hardest encounters in the history of the game. The original implementation of Yogg-0 is likely unfeasible with Ulduar damage values. It doesn't become a "joke" with 3.3.5a. Classes weren't just flat buffed en masse by 3.3.5a.
