1. You will have to use your common sense.
Common sense some months back was Enhancement and Spellhance were different "specs", but it turned out they weren't. It all falls down to Enhancement tree so anything goes. Common sense also says Paladins "shouldn't" roll for DBW, but that's always a debate when raid leader tells otherwise after start/during rolls (not specified before raid), as common sense is that Paladins aren't expected to roll for it.

For OP, going as Holy Paladin example:
    1. Armor type. If it's not the highest armor tier you can wear, it falls to off-spec. E.g. Paladin needing cloth/leather is a no no. And from level 40 onwards mail armor joins that no no -list as plate comes available.
    2. Main stat. Int is pretty much all you need/want as Holy Paladin. If it doesn't have int, greed it, unless it's obvious caster item. Attack power, hit, expertise, dodge, parry or block would make it off-spec item for you. Spirit on mail or plate item is rare, but if rest of the stats matches Holy Paladin, go for it. Those odd agility/str + int items aren't worth risking it. Greed and ask afterwards.

  2. Dies this mean Hunters can "need" strenght? Strenght gives attack power to Hunters. But strenght gives even more attack power to warrior. But for tank warrior, strenght also gives block, not just attack power. So how to understand who is right?
Strength may give hunters AP but agility gives them AP and crit. Warriors gain AP from strength but the prot warriors find strength on the gear with defensive stats. An item's role isn't defined by the primary stats alone, the secondary stats need to be included too. For example: nearly all healer and caster dps gear will have intellect on it but the dps gear will have offensive stats while the healer gear has regenerative stats. However, healers like holy paladins and resto shamans will tend to want items with haste/crit over pure mp5 because of what items exist in the game.

In general this only changes once a character is so geared that they can trade defensive or regenerative stats for more throughput. There's also the case of wearing a few agility items on plate dps classes for more crit but this is usually limited to minor slots like wrists/gloves/rings/back.

  3. Dies this mean Hunters can "need" strenght? Strenght gives attack power to Hunters. But strenght gives even more attack power to warrior. But for tank warrior, strenght also gives block, not just attack power. So how to understand who is right?
And tank items give attack power to fury warriors 5 per 180 armor, so it's perfectly legit reasoning that they should be able to NEED it.
    Right?

As you can see every player can have own opinion. You even argue vs Blizzard, who made top items for holy paladin with mp5, but you said that mp5 isnt important for holy paladin. And thats why we need exact rules from admins, so that players can follow these rules. I cant follow rules if I dont know them. And different players give me different answers. This why I ask for official information, not opinions.

I would love to see this top mp5 set designed by Blizzard. It's not like every combination has been tried and tested in the past 15 years using everything from emulators to simulations and the real thing.. oh wait.

You can search for "Sanctified Lightsworn Gloves" and "Sanctified Lightsworn Greaves" in internet or in game in dalaran if Im not wrong.

I'm well aware that they exist. They're with the other 277 and 284 items that no one uses when they're aiming for the top tier. Hunters have t10 legs with haste on them but that doesn't stop them from prioritizing the arp legs off ldw because it fits their spec and stat needs better.

  8. Hello guys!

Due to last year password changes I've lost an acc which had orc char named donkik. My question is that who do I need to talk with for this specific problem and even is there any solution to it?

If you dont use them, thats your choice. I didnt say you use them. I said they are top items from Blizzard opinion (or why did they give them max level?). As result, we have many different opinions and this why we need exact rules. I hope you remember that we are not talking about best items here, we are talking about rules of this server.

  10. Not all items are meant to be BiS, there are some items that aren't the most optimal. If all items were good, people would be BiS within few months of raiding.

  11. Ok. I think you're sorta trolling but I'll chime in with legit answers, not an opinion (per your holy paladin reasoning)

    1) Holy paladins can roll need on items THAT DO NOT HAVE +HIT (most players frown upon rolling need on gear with
Spirit also but that's not a rule), caster gear wise. Does not matter if it's Plate, mail, leather, or cloth. The
statement "holy paladins can't roll on anything BUT plate is untrue.
2)Rolling for ANYTHING WITHOUT Spellpower would be for OFFSPEC. IE you can't roll on plate legs that give Attack
Power, Armor Pen, Strength, or Agility. Those items will NOT have spellpower.
3)Mp5 is very quickly phased out BUT that still doesn't mean you can't roll NEED on said item, since it fills your
primary need of INT/SP as a caster/healer and all gear with MP5 is considered Healer gear.

To sum it up, learn what Off spec means, It doesn't seem like you do considering the overall vibe of your replies. You can't roll on MDPS items or Tank items as a Holy Paladin.

Why do you think Im trolling? Its obvious to me that to follow rules, I need opportunity to read rules. If you think this is trolling, then I really dont know what to say about that, sorry.

Thank you for opinion. But as I already said many times, I know what offspec is. I also know what I need for myself. But thats just my opinion. And I think when admins decide who to ban and who not, they count not my own opinion and your own opinion, but server rules. Thats why Im asking where I can read official rules, not opinions. Also, as I said, paladin was just example. Im not asking exactly about paladin.

If you "know" what off spec is, then why continually ask what is off spec? OFF SPEC IN A RDF IS GEAR OUTSIDE THE ROLE YOU QUE'D FOR. YOU CANNOT ROLL NEED ON MDPS ITEMS IF YOU ARE A HEALER. YOU CANNOT ROLL NEED ON HEAL GEAR AS TANK... It's not hard to understand so either you're trolling or really don't understand the basics of Offspec/Main spec. Either way, the Rules have been stated repeatedly.

Quote from the "Players Code of Conduct" that is stickied at top of forums - https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=65037

    IN-GAME NINJA POLICY
    Example of forbidden acts:
Player need rolling (group loot) on items which he cannot even use.
In RDF needing on items for Off-Spec (unless everyone in party is explictly fine with this).
Need rolling for other players to have 2 or more roll chances at one item.
Kicking players from raid for no reason, especially before distributing loot from boss kill that they participated in.
Master Looter taking items that were not reserved or giving them to players that did not win, unless it's 2nd highest roll when winner had no use for the item (rogue rolling on caster trinket).
Changing looting rules during the raid, after it has started.Example: You joined a raid that was being advertised as one with no reserved items and after first boss raid leader says that he reserves item x from last boss.
Player exploiting game bug to bypass master loot.

It is a good idea to take screenshots for evidence if loot distribution is discussed.

Because of increasing number of ninjas in raids we decided to step forward and enforce new rules. From now on players caught in act of ninja during a raid/dungeon run will be banned. Please bear in mind that best way to avoid ninjas is common sense and raiding with trusted players or guild. Details on our policy can be found here.

  14. Yes, I know, but I'm not asking about that. What I'm asking about is that, but not really that, but something else, which happens to be that.
