1. Player numbers eventually decline to a certain degree in every game. But often they also fish in some new players, so you will either see a rise and decline or a steady flow of players flushing in and out. But the number of players crashing is an entirely different story. Your diablo example doesnt work too well, since it isn't a series which gets released fairly often. They did eventually listen and adressed the complaints which the diablo community had, sure the game isn't a worthy successor to d2, but it became a decent game with reaper of souls. Fifa or call of duty would be a better example in this case, even assassins creed would be quite good. When it comes to WoW, Blizzard simply lost its open ear with its community. Have you followed the legacy servers debate that has been going on? Did you see the answer Blizzard gave regarding it? That in itself shows they have no clue on what people currently expect from WoW. They even follow CoD's prestige system now for BGs in hope people feel motivate to grind BGs. Let's not even call them out on the empty promises regarding their facebook game, uhm I mean garrison. They did add a few cool things over the years, but for every good thing they added, they usually took 2 dives straight into the sand aswell.

TL;DR: It's not the changes that ruin a game, it's not listening to feedback regarding said changes that breaks the neck.
I'm not saying that I don't agree with some points that you've approached however it's always hard to make everyone happy. Specially when your community is as big as WoW community. Warlords of Draenor was a failed release and a release that had to be a test to check the limits of the community. I want to believe that Legion will be a good expansion with something actually fun of doing. A reasonable ammount of content and multiple options to explore.
Yes, I did follow the legacy servers debate and I still follow the small updates that are released from time to time. I've seen Blizzard's answer regarding it however I also believe that a good percentage of the players demanding legacy servers are those players that are going to play for the nostalgia and they'll last one week or two weeks. Besides looking into it from a community member perspective I'm looking into it as a business man; Dollars and Euros must drop in my bank account in order to make such an investment - A temporary money flux isn't worth a big investment. It must be a safe reality that won't affect the current content otherwise they'll lose money from the development they applied in the latest expansions.

TL;DR: I do agree with you that not listening to the feedback regarding the said changes is bad however it's really complicated to keep everyone happy. You might be happy with the change X but I can hate the change X. All I know is that I wouldn't like to be on their shoes when the decision for those changes comes.

all truth tbh, lets not forget the ******ed way that tirion died by a summoned pet
While being struggled by Gul'dan himself and not being able to move. He had no chance of defending himself and he got crushed. Personally, I think he had a good death since it was Gul'dan himself that applied Tirion's sentence.

  2. Just found out what a credit card is...

Only now I understood why so many people are in debt... kek

  3. Eredar are not "summoned pets".
Well Gul'Dan summoned him and he must obey him, so he's kind of a pet...

  4. Well Gul'Dan summoned him and he must obey him, so he's kind of a pet...
Yet he is still way empowered eredar.

  5. Well Gul'Dan summoned him and he must obey him, so he's kind of a pet...
Kinda, sure I guess? Eredar are srs bzns though.

  6. So since my hunter's pet is able to kill people by himself does that make him a ****ty pet as well?

    Eredar are srs bzns though.
You should meet my pet "Hate". He bites peoples ***.

I can't disagree, it's difficult to keep everyone happy or atleast the larger part of the community. The buisness point of view you mention is pretty much the reason why they are holding back on it. Since the current cash cow I'd say is probably expansion sales, ever since the decline of subs. I just found it incredibly hilarious how they had a solution to legacy servers by intending to offer a slow leveling, no heirloom realm for their new expansions, like honestly? Can you miss the point even more Blizzard?

Fun fact on the side, Blizzard has become a little scared to take risks. If you look into Hearthstone it becomes quite clear, since they rejected it multiple times before giving it a try.

  8. The reason why they don't open legacy servers is because no one is willing to pay for an outdated game from 2003. Vanilla was a ****ty grindfest. Nostalgia is the only thing that makes vanilla good.

Considering that card games were held hostage by Magic The Gathering it would always be a risk to try a game like Hearthstone. However I can't blame most of the companies for not taking risks specially considering the struggle that the global economy went through. But you're absolutely right; Blizzard has been scared of taking risks but I can't blame them for the legacy servers drama. It's a huge ammount of money as an investment that can be a disaster.

  10. The reason why they don't open legacy servers is because no one is willing to pay for an outdated game from 2003. Vanilla was a ****ty grindfest. Nostalgia is the only thing that makes vanilla good.
Except that there's literally tens of thousands of people (more than the community of most other MMO's) playing private servers.

It's not nostalgia. The game simply was better in some people's opinion.

I for one, think that WotLK was the best expansion ever.
Some people prefer TBC, Cata, Vanilla or MoP (or god forbid warlords of facebook).

  11. ehh

i was walking around the park, i saw a girl talking to her dog and claiming that "the problem is hidden into keys!", the dog ran away and took some papers from an old lady passing by, the sun goes full bright and some chains start to sound in the environment, trees around are leaving dust and some type of white ash, in the floor, an old man with a box come to me and opened it, it just contained a bunch of coins soked with chicken soup, decided to throw the box but while doing it, the earth seem to be shaking as the moment i threw the box, does the box can make big changes? or its just a coincidence? . The sky goes dark and dust increases the dog come back with some papers, i decide to get the dog with me and read of the papers, some of them have big messages "ITS WHITE" "BELIEVE IN CRAYONS" "IS THE COLOR A COLOR?", so eveything went red and the dog ran again, now i look around and i feel like inside a room, no its not a room, i am inside a box!!, i checked inside and there was a Venetian Mask with flames around, the dog appears from nowhere and attacks the mask and destroys it, now the dog vanished while the earth sakes again and im out of the box again watching another old lady over a tree eating an orange, the onylt hing i can think of is "is that funny to be up there"?

    End

    (no, im not back)

WotLK being best imo as well, I rate WoD as 2nd best, closely followed by if not equal to it MoP, then tBC, Cata and at last Vanilla. And I expect Legion to be somwhere between Wrath and MoP.

  14. Holy **** the new Poe expansion is just.... Yes please. I just hope they don't touch skyforth, I just bought them today >.> Atleast CoC is getting nerf hammered so that might make end game builds a little more unique.

Well, I know what I'll play on the 2nd of September.
