Currently, after defeating a raid boss, the Sated/Exhaustion debuff (from Bloodlust/Heroism) remains active on players—even after combat ends. This forces raid groups to either wait 10 full minutes or intentionally wipe to clear it, disrupting pacing and strategy.
This wasn’t the behavior in WotLK Classic, where Sated/Exhaustion was cleared on boss defeat. And with several WotLK "bug fixes" making their way into the current version, this feels like a quality-of-life update worth revisiting.
Why this matters:
- It punishes clean kills with unnecessary downtime.
- It encourages scuffed wipes just to reset the debuff.
Suggestion:
- Clear combat-only debuffs like Sated/Exhaustion upon boss defeat/wipe.
- Reset major raid cooldowns (longer than 2 mins), such as Berserk, Death Wish, Avenging Wrath, Empowerd Rune Weapon, Army of the Death, priest hymns, Innervate, Rebirth etc.
This improves raid flow and the already tedious vibe of ICC overall.
Would love to see this looked at—feels like a small fix with big impact.
