[Re-launch] SOTW 1# (Preparation)

Greetings everyone.
I am Yuffie and I will try to Re-launch SOTW on Molten WoW, and I hope I can acomplish that.

For those who don't know what SOTW is (A short FAQ):

What is SOTW?
~ SOTW stands for 'Signature Of The Week' and represents a contest which is held weekly.

What do I need to do?
~ All you need to do is send me a signature you created in the given time and in the respective theme which will be given in the thread in the future.

Can I send something my friend made?
~ Definetly not. Even though there is no way of telling if you made it or not, refrain from doing so.

What if I'm too late?
~ I'm going to give you a last chance. Each SOTW will be starting at a given time and ending at one. So I'll tolerate 10-30 mins after the deadline but not more.

I've made 2 signatures! Look!
~ Sadly, you may only enter 1.

How do I vote?
~ You'll vote in the "Voting Thread" with the vote you are giving and why.

Do I really have to say why?
~ Yes.

Can I vote for myself?
~ No.

I lost! What do I do?
~ Better luck next time.

Alright, let's start on rules:

1. You may enter with only ONE entry.
2. You may vote only ONCE. You CAN NOT change your vote for whatever reason.
3. You may NOT vote for yourself.
4. Your entry's standard dimension are NOT allowed to be above 500x200.
5. Your entry and the theme MUST comply.
6. Once the entry is sent, you may change it ONCE.
7. Enter with your work only. AVOID plagiarism and copyright infringement at all cost.

(Keep in mind, I might change some of them.)

The procedure:

1. I'll open a thread with the theme for the SOTW. I'll either provide you with a render/stock or give you the possibility to choose your own. As for PS resources, visit here.
2. The individuals who want to participate should start working on the signature then. Once done with it you are to send it to my inbox here on the forums. Keep in mind, Only ONE entry (You may "update" it ONCE).
3. After approximately 3 days the submission time will be closed. Then I will opet a thread with the entries, TOTALY ANONYMUS.
4. This is the time when everyone comes to count. Everyone is allowed to vote only ONCE. The voting time begins.
5. After approximately 4 days the voting time will be closed. Then I'll open the Winner thread + the theme for the next week, and so on going in circles.

~ As for the prizes, I am not sure what I could hand out, you guys should help me decide.

~ I'll leave this open for suggestions before opening a real SOTW, I really want to know how many of you are interested and how many WILL in the end participate. I'll probably leave this thread till monday and then decide. Keep in mind that I do this for fun only, not to create any kind of drama zone. Any drama will NOT be tolerated. (If you find any grammatical errors or such, please notify me, since my native language is not english)

Wow, I was just out with friends and already 4 new people to join :3 I'm really excited! Well, do you want me to make a pool about the first theme of the SOTW?

I also have a suggestion. What if we each "Winner Thread" open a pool for the next SOTW? So that people have time to vote for what they want to have for their theme.

Something like this:

• Green - Theme voting time. (2 days)
• Blue - Signature creating time. (3 days)
• Purple - Signature voting time. (2 days)

Or should I stick with the standard:

• Blue - Signature creating time. (4 days)
• Purple - Signature voting time. (3 days)

What do you guys think? I am not sure. I might want to go with option 2. Or do you have something else in mind?
