SOTW RULES:


RULES:

1. You may enter with only ONE entry.
2. You may vote only ONCE. You CAN NOT change your vote for whatever reason.
3. You may NOT vote for yourself.
4. Your entry's standard dimension are NOT allowed to be above 600x250.
5.* Your entry and the theme MUST comply.
6. Once the entry is sent, you may change it ONCE.
7. Enter with your work only. AVOID plagiarism and copyright infringement at all cost.
8. Do NOT post your signatures in any threads, mail them to me. If you do so, I can not accpet that signature as an entry anymore.
9. You may NOT put your name on the signature, it MUST be anonymous. I will send you a warrning to correct it if you do so.
10. You can say why you vote for the signature you choose, it is NOT a must.
11. You may write text on your entry but NOTHING that may reveal who did the signature, so the name of the render, character, fractal or SOTW would be fine.
12. Banned user's votes are NOT counted.
13. Banned users are NOT allowed to vote from another alt account, if you do so, the vote will not count.

* - Your signature may be close to the theme ie the theme is Life and you create a signature of a butterfly because for you it represents rebirth which is closely connected to life. The themes can be interpreted in a large variety of ways so don't be afraid to ask if the signature is okay, that does not count as a entry until you state it, so you can ask as many times as you want if this is a good signature for the theme.

THE PROCEDURE:

1. Once the theme thread opens, you can start creating the signature, and send them to me before the deadline is due.
2. On the day of the deadline (Usually 5 days after the theme thread is opened if not stated otherwise) will the voting thread open, there are no entries accepted anymore.
3. After the voting thread closes (Usually 2 days after the voting thread is opened if not stated otherwise) will there be a new theme thread with the winners in it. And so it circles around.

What is SOTW?
~ SOTW stands for 'Signature Of The Week' and represents a contest which is held weekly.

What do I need to do?
~ All you need to do is send me a signature you created in the given time and in the respective theme which will be given in the thread in the future.

Can I send something my friend made?
~ Definetly not. Even though there is no way of telling if you made it or not, refrain from doing so.

What if I'm too late?
~ I'm going to give you a last chance. Each SOTW will be starting at a given time and ending at one. So I'll tolerate 10-30 mins after the deadline but not more.

~ Sadly, you may only enter 1.

How do I vote?
~ You'll vote in the "Voting Thread" once it is created.

Do I have to say why?
~ Not really, but it is appreciated.

Can I vote for myself?
~ Definetly not.

I lost! What do I do?
~ Better luck next time.
