Well I was too lazy to draw the mouth fully, I don't know why, but you can ignore that part hahah :D
He looks like an anime-ized *****. Why'd you had to go there? You either draw anime or realistic. I opt for realistic. Change his eyes and his overall expression, make him a legit *****, and you get a 10/10 from me.
Also, don't post unfinished / bad pictures and say "well It's not finished so yeah" or "I was lazy to finish". No one gives a **** about that. It's *****ic and makes bad publicity. Won't make you any request after you said "I was lazy to draw X fully". This is an advice for future drawings not this one in particular. Investing in a tablet just to doddle on it? Not cool bro.
Sorry for being harsh but someone must say it.
I was having fun with it without aiming for purely anime or purely realistic. It's art and you can do what you want with it.
I agree I shouldn't post any unfinished stuff and I won't in the future. I was aware of this, but I made an exception because...well I don't know why, but still thanks for the awesome advice. I really appreciate it!
I invested in a tablet 'cause I believe it's a handy tool for any artist. On top of that I would really like to master drawing and painting with Photoshop ( and in general ), not only for my personal pleasure, but also for the possibility of selling any type of visual design. Maybe I'll even fulfill my dream and one day be a part of a visual design team for some amazing game. :)
I gotta say, if this is your first attempt, then you are much better than me. My first attempt was terrible (A mushroom from Super Mario *facepalms*), there are loads of brushes made for this purpose, and I gotta tell you, those helped me a lot when it came to improvements with my drawings.
Then again, you could focus a little bit more on details and not get lazy, laziness ruins it all in my opinion.
Also, as other guys stated already, never but never release unfinished work, people do not like excuses as ''I had no time to finish, bla bla'', sometimes it's better to take some more time and work on it, in order to get better comments and get that amazing feeling of success.
Either way, this is good for your FIRST attempt, looking forward to see more in the future!
Yeah, I kinda regret posting it until it was really finished, but it's too late now.
Can you recommend some specific brushes or should I just experiment with what I can find?
Thanks! Glad you like it! :)

Those are the brushes I usually use when drawing some splash art and such.
You can of course edit them however you want, depending on what you want to do.
