So I am thinking about moving to sergeras after it updates to 4.3.4. I have never really been into PvE (After being in a few really good guilds, it started to feel like a chore being in raids and people took it way to seriously), but being so limited in warsong, I think I am ready to move up so that I can be in a decent raiding guild in where I can still PvP.
So is there a guild that will have me when I decide to move over? I play mainly mage and hunter. I am not up to date on the raid tactics so I will do my best to read and watch videos on it, but I learn better with the hands on experience (as do most people).
I will still play warsong regularly but I want this to be my PvE fix.
Remember I am a noob in PvE, so keep that in mind.

If you ally, you can use my guild to lvl but all we do is bg arenas and the odd heroic.

IMO, for Sargeras, the guilds here are either not-so-great at raiding, or they are elitists. I know that that seem as a overstatement, but being here for about 4 months now, it's the sad truth.
Most players from guilds that I see here with good progression will instantly scold you a noob and leave the party (in raids or rdf) if you guys maybe wiped once. I shall not name any guilds but NONE of the players I see from reputable guilds actually have a nice personality (except pinnacle, most guys are pretty cool when I was there).
Besides, if you get into a good guild, keep in mind that you will probably not get in their core raid soon, so it kinda beats the purpose. I suggest you find some budding pve guild, join as their core and forge some bonds as their equal, instead of feeling under the pressure that you have to prove yourself or something. (Trust me when I say that most players in good guilds are douchebags who belittle everyone they see)

The most fun guilds don't give a **** when they wipe, only if they wipe because of the same mistake multiple times.
Keep that in mind if you seek a raiding guild.

there is no such thing as an elitist PVE guild on molten wow, i love this community and i like to give a lot of credit to it, but when it comes to someone being elitists on a serv that doesnt have any hack protection and a lot of exploits i just lol

There are countless of raiding guides to all of those raids that can be done in Cataclysm, if you start reading now and make sure that you get the necessary addons for raiding (you will need a few) , I am pretty sure that you will do good when the switch to 4.3.4 happens.

Maybe I didn't really used that term correctly or I had a different meaning in my head instead hahah. However, what I am referring to is that most players from good guilds I see, although they do know how to play well, severely mocks others that does worse, sometimes bragging their *** off BEFORE even the fight starts.
Although they do not blatantly state "lul I am from 'xxxx' guild I must be pro", what I am saying is that all these dicks are see usually comes from those guilds.
For eg, at blackrock caverns's ALO, I was healing and refused to do the 'standing on-top' glitch, and they just go 'I don't trust healers that aren't from my guild' (srsly?)
There are many other occurrences in BH, BWD, BOT and RDFs which I am too lazy to elaborate (still trying to forget about it) lol :cool:
TL;DR : My disappointment in some of the server's population is not unfounded....

Its not true that guilds on Sargeras cant raid wellI dont know about alliance but on horde there is plenty raiding guilds that will help you to gear up and help you to learn everything..Example is my guild named "Endoderm" you are always welcome in guild,nobody will call you a noob because you made a mistake or dont know a tactic on specific boss,our guild master will always explain you what to do no matter what,he is the most patient person i ever seen in this 3 years on molten wow,you can wipe as much as you want he wont disband raid group until boss is down,guild run or PUG? Doesnt matter,he is also patient with PUGs the only thing he doesnt tolerate is going AFK in the middle of the fight while you are dead.
I was noob like you in PVE counting only Cataclysm and this guy helped me alot,i learned everything thanks to him he didnt yelled at me when i make a mistake he will just point to me what mistake i did and my job is to not a fail again on same thing

I know, I didn't say guilds in Sargeras can't raid well, of course good ones exist, I am not referring to the level of skill in their guild runs. What I am saying is that, for those end game guilds here, if you suck too hard, disrespectful or just don't agree with leaders there, you'll get gkicked, I know because I talked to a few person there. Since they have high quality checks, they probably have a generally higher skilled pool of players there.
However, for guilds that doesn't do QC, such as those mass inviters, there WILL be players who suck, I know that because once I see 3 of them in my RDF HC and did lower dps than me at 350ilvl (I was tank).
From that can you see the kind of people I am working with? The majority of pugs I work with is either 'Elitist' or 'Sucks so badly'. The people who are SKILLED and NICE are so f**king rare.
That aside, I am also guiding and teaching newbies from my guild who are willing to learn, and to ensure they don't develop in such a harsh environment, which might result them in acting like those dicks I mentioned above.

I have both 4.06 and 4.3.4 on the computer, as soon as 4.3.4 goes live, ill just delete 4.06.
