The Problem with fresh raiding and a solution to it
We all know how much insane the community is on our server with the common problem such as
1) Insane ilvl requirements for raids such as FL,RHoT and rdf HC
2)Active raiding guilds asking a bit too much(ilvl, time etc) for casual players who don't have a fixed time for gamming
To avoid such problems I suggest we add ppl who share a mutual interest to our friends list in game we write a note on his name saying his class, role etc and when we want to raid or do a dungeon run we simply whisper to them when they are not busy doing a dungeon or Bg.
At first this may not start out well as we need a huge number of ppl but later on we may enjoy this because unlike a normal PUg if one of the members in the raid is a ninja or a jerk the leader kicks him or we leave because the leader is a jerk/ninja himself in doing so we get a good set of ppl to have fun with.

so what do you people think about this ?
Isn't this concept more or less what you do in a guild? Minus the commitment of course, but that comes with a heavy price of inconsistency. Making a guild with said people would be far more efficient as those notes as well as the list of active players would be visible in the roster.

good point but alas even in a guild some ppl don't log in that character for weeks or have to take breaks cuz of studies, life etc.The thing is to help every players regardless of what time they are online and wish to raid can simply look up the roster or look up a forum topic to see ppl who wanna raid, rdf HC etc add them and see if they are online.
what I am trying to have ppl picture is a number of ppl who you know can do raids, rdf hc etc and if they are online you can ask them to join you having saved time, avoided ppl from leaving and their will also be a lil trust that this guy knows not to stand on fire which has been a major issue since vanilla.
In short something that surpasses the guild system.

What is there to surpass you are talking about a very ineffective guild, usually a social or leveling guild, rather than what an actual working progression guild looks and functions as, which is essentially what you are aiming for with the people you wish to add to your friend list to join you in dungeons and raids. That said there is nothing effective about looking for random people who have no commitment whatsoever or a regular playing schedule it simply will not work in your favor. Consistency is the key here and not letting members commit to a schedule or such is not effective.
The proper and effective communication requires either a forum or a guild, or a shared chat channel.
But I still don't see why you are against making a guild. Even a guild with no rules or set raiding schedule will be better. And you can apply a filter so you stay in a guild with like-minded players.
is better this way people to ask for alot more ilvl, in guild same, as the first that people wanna too high ilvl for fl and fl hc is better this way again yes because we saw alot alot noobs people that dont know wtf to do, in the guild is same because noone wants to boost you. in our guild we wanna min 385+ ilvl, and to be ready for ds full and ds hc fully tacx and such. thats why mostly. Noone wants to boost people.
How that kind of people work in guilds: They log undergeared once aweek max and spam you with "What raid are we doing today?" or "Is guild doing something?". If you don't have time to play this game and gear for raids then don't do it, you can't expect to get carried through content
You can play without a guild, but in the end, multiplayer content needs multiple players.
That's what developers had in mind when they created the guild interface. Guilds are meant to ease casual players, if you already have a set up group that you run raids with then you're not casual any more.

ahh here we go i soo agree with that post. that theres a lot people entering for raids only nothing else and if theres raid they do it they want it fast and then after the raid quit. I quitted few guilds currently in Alliance Side. and i quitted totally cata i back to Ragnaros. but i still see in horde side of Ragnaros are still such guilds i know few guilds in ally side that are good.
this problem come from molten not from wow itself.on retial you was able to get pretty good gear + learn the basic of raids strategy going RAID FINDER.also echievs are acound shared so if you have raid on your main you can link the echiev on your alt.sadly we do not have that option on MOLTEN so for fresh player its almost not possible to start raid progression unless he donate for gear or make some super good application for raiding guild.

thats how hardcore pve guild work man.i quess you are looking for social not raiding guild.

That's because account shared achievements have been added in MoP.

i can be wrong about account wide echievs after all cataclysm is pretty old.but my point is new players really feel the need of raid finder dificulty, especially when molten is talking about MOP release where pve progression is simple not possible w/o RFL and FLEX.
why the f@ck people don't use raid-finder anyways?
this is what really bugs me, at least in wotlk you can pug your all the way till u get decent gear for raiding but in cata? premades only even for 5 men normal.OMFG, what a load of crap,
i don't wanna be sittin in orgri all the frikkin' time, much less join global to have my chat flooded by spammers. it gives me the headache.
and good luck finding social/casual guilds active enough to do some progress. ain't gonna happen.
i wanna play and like cata so bad but so far its a complete and utter disappointment, with all the bugs and unscripted content and zero chances for casuals like to get better items it just feels like a waste of time. :(
