How do you level well?

I've been thinking of switching over to Sagreas for a while (and am still kind of a noob), and I was wondering how people manage to keep their gear the same level they are as the leveling is so quick. Do most players just purchase heirloom gear from the vote point shop or is everyone running around with gear from 10 levels ago? How do you keep the gear up to date every 5 levels or so?

Gear that drops from mobs and quest usually carry me well throughout my leveling. :cool:

most people make it to 85 missing 6-7 pieces of gear, and the rest is from the most common quests you encounter. it's not that hard mob damage is nerfed in cata zones. but yeah 1 heirloom weapon you'll never need to worry about gear
