Looking for a smaller more close-knit guild

I want a guild where members actually know each other instead of the 1k+ guilds that keep spamming me automated invites and annoying the living hell out of me. Does such a guild exist? No offense to the huge guilds, I am just used to a guild where the leader knows most of the members and the members actually know each other. I don't understand the need for 100s of people in the same chat. Might as well not be in a guild and just talk in global chat.

Hello Whitespark, I am Mariante, officer from the College of Adventure.
We are a recent guild with almost 400 members and I can't say we know every single guildie. However, there are some core members who are always chatting, dungeoning, raiding and helping each other. No one deny help for no one, not because it's a rule, but we are friendly to each other.
We are US-time based, having our raids happening always by 12pm ST.
