Ele shaman viable dps?

Hello everyone, i decided to roll elemental shaman, but i am not very satisfied with my dps, friend said you should deal very nice DPS with elemental shaman, but i dont.
My gear score is 5834
My rotation is - Flame shock, lava burst, chain lighting, spam lighting bolt, and repeat
my stats are here on this screen:



please , help me out, i am often being asked why is my dps so low for such high gear, and i really dont know the answer, because i think im doing exact rotation as im supposed to :)

Ele shamans are viable dps and always needed for raids. But the main reason u take an ele shaman with u in your raid is the support for other classes. As ele you will never top the dps meter.

Your haste rating seems to be okay. Guess you are not fully enchated and gemmed til now. Try to stack more spellpower to increase your damage.
Which glyphs are you using wrong glyphs can pull your dps down a lot.

And dont use chainlightning in your rotation except there are 2 or more targets u hit with it.
With a haste rating higher then 1000 your rotation should be fs lava burst and then lightning bolt till lava burst is out of cooldown again. Dont refresh your fs before its last tick cause u will loose a lot of dmg.
