1. WotLK Enhance Shaman vs Pallies

    hey guys

I wanted to get back into molten, this time i have a lot more coins to gear one main anyways.

Basically this question is for pvp, thats all i care about. So last time before the crash, allies BGs were FILLED with pallies, like an absurd amount, WSG would usually be over 50% pallies on alliance. no idea how it is now, but i can only assume soon enough they will make a come back for the alliance. anyways, i had trouble fighting vs them with my enhancement. of course, weaker geared ones i can take out but if they had a similar or better gear score i found it very hard.

is it possible to beat pallies with enhancement? can someone explain that to me? tips and what to do? anything along those lines. thanks!

read this guide, the pala vs enh is at the bottom. Took me 12 seconds to find it :) good luck beating pallies!

  3. Purge everything off them and either try and burst them down our outlast them, making sure you wind shear any potential attempts to heal up and grounding repetance

  4. An equally skilled Ret Paladin vs Enhancement Shaman...

Who will win, what percentage of the time? Is it 70/30? 50/50? 30/70?

I remember, maybe 10 months ago, a friend of mine with BiS enhance on Inferno guild said he would lose to an equally geared ret pally the majority of the time. I can only assume he really know what he was doing though as he played enhance forever and would always come out top on BGs.

40(enhance)/60(ret). Since most rets on molten follow like, one rotation (stun -> wings -> "I'm best player eu/na), it makes them easier.

  7. At the begining stay away from the ret and purge all buffs. When he pops wings try to purge it as soon as possible. Try to use grounding totem on stun hammer. If he is able to stun u use ur trinket.
When u drop low health pop ur wolfs and run away with sprint while u keep frostshocking him.
Enhance shami can beat a ret pala. Ur big advantage is that u can kite the ret to nirvana as long as u purge his hand of freedom.

I would say a skill capped enhance shami will usually beat a skill capped ret.

I'll agree with you on most points, but a Ret who can dispel the shocks off them properly will be difficult to kite. Also try to use Grounding for Repentance, which is usually what is used to catch up to a ranged target.
