1. The Future Expansion of World of Warcraft

Recently has revealed an anonymous person who created a post that describes the future of World of Warcraft. Why is this important?

A user on reddit opened a statement anonymously last year about World of Warcraft, and the future of each game.

Each of this statements, before the content was released has came true:

The big focus of Warlords of Draenor in content patches will be Tanaan Jungle - released in patch 6.2
The Tanaan Jungle will preview a new raid Hellscream Ascent - now called Hellfire Citadel
A new Pvp battleground game will be revealed at Blizzcon - that was revealed as Overwatch

Now since then, the original post was removed from reddit, that could prove it has some truth for the following that has been predicted:
The next expansion is planned to launch in Q1 2016 - 4/6 months after WoDs last patch
The expansion will be south seas, battling against Naga - the reason we can now build navel ships.
Warlords of Draenor will be a 2/3 part expansion, where South Seas expansion will extend the burning legion
The new expansion is expected to be called Eye of Azshara
The zones will be Nazjatar, Zandalar, the Rift of Aln, and Kul'Tiras
The main antagonist will be Queen Azshara

    Other
Blizzcon will reveal a Death Knight class for Hearthstone
Alpha gameplay will be revealed for Overwatch

What do you think of the future of WoW? And is this idea feasible?

  2. Hearing about Ashara again reminds me of this fan-expansion idea:

Sure, its not "eye" of Ashara, but its close enough.

Also, I heard that it'd be a Hearthstone expansion, if it were legit.

  3. The next expansion is planned to launch in Q1 2016 - 4/6 months after WoDs last patch

I have rarely seen a expansion launch after 6 months after the last patch...literally most of the times is 8+ months

MOP was released nearly a year after 4.3
WOD was released over a year after 5.4

Blizzard are getting into the habit of making content drag on and get stale as of the last 2 expansions.

  5. Honestly, the reason I'm here is that I've come to realize that these new expansions are all pretty much the same. Some new location to go kill 10 quest mobs at the direction of some npc over and over again. Some new dungeon to not stand in the fire and avoid this or that mechanic. Some new battleground that, if Temple of Kotmogu and Silvershard Mines are any indication, aren't as good as the "old" bgs.

I've got a job and a life, and I'd rather just stay in my Cata world that I can log onto when I want and do what I want. The only thing Blizzard could do that would attract me is to make a Cata server of their own.

If I were looking for new content I'd be playing retail. I want off the hamster wheel. That's why I'm here.

  6. Previous expansions lasted longer, but there was never just 3 raids and 2 tiers, this is indication that they want to finish wod asap.
Name "Eye of Azhara" was trademarked by blizz few mount ago. But naga expansion would be great, it's time we face mighty queen Azshara, Light of Lights.

  7. I always thought the naga were dumb, both in how they looked and the lore behind them. I think the high elves have a much more interesting story and are much more relateable. I think an expansion where Alleria Windrunner returns and leads the high elves to try to take back Quel'thalas from the blood elves would be much more interesting than some naga story. Or maybe a "Rise of Loerdaeron" expansion where the remnants of the old kingdom try to take back their lands from the Forsaken.

If it does turn out to be a naga expansion I expect I'll stay right here on Warmane in Cata. Not really up for a fish story.

They could finally introduce Kul Tiras kingdom.

  9. *fingers-crossed* for Naga expansion/playable race since WOTLK.

How exactly are they going to equip boots and pants? Helms too would look really ridiculous. There's just so many basic problems with them that I don't even know why people think they'll be playable. Can't even imagine how a Naga rouge would look like.

You know items don't have to be displayed on character when equipped? I really don't see any issues there.

Every seen a draenei with feet instead of hoofs?
By the way, Worgen and Goblin both have been adjusted in graphics a bit before they became playable. Why not do it with naga aswell?
Naga rogue would be weird.... lets exclude naga rogues :) Classes for Naga:
    - DK
    - Hunter
    - Maeg
    - Priest
    - Warrior
    - Warlock
    - Druid
    - Shaman

Hope that's true, it would be great to finally have a Naga focused expansion, even tho so much ppl all over the net have called it.

But still Naga > Queen Azshara > Old God imprisoned under the sea > Greatness.

Imo I find those Old Gods much more interesting now then the Legion.

WoD feels like a filler expansion thus far, unless they reveal some new(old) Legion overlord helping Gul'dan now when Mannoroth is dead.

Arthus wouldn't turn Fish into DKs.. So you can rule that one out.
And I'm pretty sure a Naga can't be a Warlock either, or a Druid.

It's stupid and people should really stop asking for it.

Naga hunter, a fish with a pet can't imagine that :DDD
Honestly they should make naga or something like that as a new class. Maybe as a new wizard, where the player can summon a naga pet and some 'fish/water' spells.
