Compared to other expansions and in my opinion - boringly quick, boringly convenient and boringly easy.
100% agree. I only have a retail sub to play with someone special (She'll probably read this).
WoD's features and graphics are beyond the other expansions, every classes spec is more specific than ever, as the spells each spec uses are greatly reduced (which turns every spec into a more specific one). Only from that perspective people can say that it is 'easier', because you don't have to use three bars of spells anymore for your current spec. But that's not quite true, when a specific spec is missing a spell it used to have on a different expansion it makes it harder, from survivability perspective. But on the other hand, since every classes spec has reduced spells balance is preserved.
So I don't agree with the above at all.
Most of all I've already started asking people about WoD in-game, people from Cataclysm to be more specific, and after asking them why they still play Cataclysm they exclaim that they wait for WoD to come.
People on Cata don't like MoP, they are all waiting for WoD, and a lot of people on MoP feel the same way, based on my community research.
It turns out that MoP has more haters than WoD. WoD is simply an upgraded version of MoP, with new zones, new gear, new battlegrounds and arenas, raids and dungeons plus some extras like upgraded graphics and character models, some animations, and a lot of new features that change the daily routines of playing World of Warcraft (example: you can farm your profession materials in your garrison, instead hunting them around Azeroth and Outland)
Who wouldn't like to see his character(s) looking awesome? Who wouldn't like to take a selfie of his character and share it on twitter? Who wouldn't like to farm his garrison for mats, to inv friends in it, to upgrade it? Or for the LORE lovers to experience the new dungeons and raids and complete the cinematic quests? And most of all for the people who want something new to try the different playstyle?

Stats been scaled down on gear while also scaling down mobs and bosses as well. So you probably won't see high numbers as you used to see. Lore wise as of right now in the expansion is pretty nice. You can get from 90-100 in 2 - 4 days just by questing. But not much to do other than PvP as you'll find a lot of free time hanging around your garrison. Tbh I would wait till about half way through the expansion before joining. Also you can only loot the new Rares 1 time after that they become Gold Rare Elite thing or Just normal mobs which have meh loot if any. You can get 10k Gold easy just by doing all the quest lines. Which you need 5k just to upgrade your garrison to lvl 3 and have 2000 resources. But I am enjoying it sadly the Queue for dungeons every day so far been 30 min which almost makes it not worth doing Dungeon Finder.
As of right now I would rate this instance 7/10 just for the lack of things to really do. Of course the expansion isn't over so it can increase or decrease at a later time.

Lol wtf, i dont want to take ****ing selfies and share it, i can look awesome in cata too
Farming materials in garrison??? **** that, its not a single player game
On WoD you can make progress just by sitting in Garrison and waiting in que for Flex, RDF or bg. Orgrimmar on retail is mostly empty because players hang in Garrisons anyway. Pretty boring if you ask me.
i have not played WoD but from what i heard casters have really hard times in pvp due to lack of defensive spells and mobility oh and heard that ferals are gods is that true?
Not when 1v1 against a Ret, I know that much.
PvE-wise
The current content is quite hard (speaking about mythic here), but in terms of design, atmosphere and lore the bosses are beyond boring.
All the classes & specs play WAY to easy, atleast for me. Your spellbook has been dumbed down to a very small repertoire of abilities which are all easy to manage.
I can't think of any 'real' challenging spec to play right now, besides maybe a top-notch Feral-Druid.
PvP-wise
PvP feels EXTREMELY slowed down and more importantly hilariously dull.
You can't really stand out from a 'bad' player anymore, because you miss out on so many abilities that you used to have before.
Also, half of the stuff you needed to do manually now somewhat happens automatically, since alot of the old passives & spells were merged.
The amount of damage you do in PvP feels very low and since every class now has a billion Cooldowns & Escapes, the gameplay just feels slow and does not really punish you for your mistakes like it used to back in, say WotLK & MoP (in MoP you just melted in 2sec when you messed up)
I don't like it overall.
Yeah, the graphics are better, but you don't play a game like WoW for the graphics.
I disagree when it comes to design, atmosphere and lore. But then again, I'm a bit of a hardcore WC2 fan.
As for classes & specs being hard to play, I haven't found healing to be easy at all, at least when still gearing up. Tanking is a lot more fun and fluid, not really difficult rotationally, but it shouldn't - the tanks should focus more on mechanics and position. Rotationally for a DPS, I agree somewhat. Just doing damage on my Ret is not hard, but I've also been playing this spec for ages and have it down entirely by muscle memory. However, when it comes to things like Mythic Oregorger where I have to track my interrupt, track when I need to Sac a tank, min/max my DPS and pay attention to mechanics all at the same time, ****'s not easy.
Fortunately for me, as a Ret, the only things I really lost going into WoD from MoP was Devotion Aura and Guardian of Ancient Kings. Neither of those added any real complexity to my gameplay. Just more things to track and min/max. Does it make it easier for me? Sure, but I wouldn't say its detracting from skill at all. It's better described as a quality of life change in all honesty.
I'm glad they toned down the burst. It means that the winner of fights goes to who is superior or has a better comp over the course of the fight rather than just who can burst the hardest. MoP PvP for most classes consisted of trying to burst your opponent to death in the first minute of an arena match, or trying to survive your opponent's burst, and the outcome would usually decide the entire arena match. For the remainder of classes, PvP just wasn't viable. My main class being one of them. Rets were RIP. Meanwhile, Warlocks and Hunters dominated everything. MoP PvP is far from balanced and I'm happy Warmane has no plans for a PvP realm for that expansion.
Though, to be fair, I haven't been hardly active at all in competitive PvP since the launch of MoP. Anyone who's familiar with MoP PvP and knows what my main class/spec is will understand why.
Ultimately, though, I'd have to agree with Kaer. I feel like while I'm not raiding, I'm playing a single-player game.
Garrison is alternative way of having your own home in the game. And it is one of the best new features so far.
No, rdf is one of the best features.
Shame that justice points or emblems cease to exist, eh?
You can say WoW after WOTLK became boringly easy ;)
WoD is just that, another expansion and another lvl of WoW simplified, they added garrisons which are great but in the end everything is easy, you have less spells, you dont even have to macro things,
only thing I really like there is stat shrink and no more stun fest like in MoP,
and also no flying in Draenor thats great imo, flying mounts killed world PvP.
