How do Locks fair against the other classes

Gonna need some help on this guys

In an ICC 10/25 Saurfang encounter, How do demo/afffli/hybrid locks fair on this server compared to the other dps classes. I know saurfang isnt really a good indication sometimes but im just curious. Assuming that everyone is BIS and know their class and rotations properly.

If someone could list these against the warrs, mages, paladins, rogues etc etc in a tier list that would be greatly appreciated.

Destro is ****, affli is good but still bugged, otherwise it would be the best damage, hybrid is pure and stable dps and demo is the bursty king of warlocks. Learn to play a demo or hybrid lock and youll be in the top 5 on most fights with about 21-22k or more at the end of the fight. Best i've done on dbs as a 6.2 demo lock is 22.6k dps at the end of the fight and i still have one more power spike left when i hit enough haste to go critstone. You'll beat rogues, and probably warriors pallies if everything lines up perfectly but mages and hunters will almost always beat you on sourfang. On lk tho, you should be top dps in p1, depending on valks you'll either be **** or great, but you'll catch back up on p3 and should finish in top 5 since it's a long burn phase. After fury of frostmourne if you lose to anyone other than a better demo lock, you're bad :P

Demo is as good as ret palas and MM huntards, you just need to time your meta right, which I never really did XD

    mages will pwn u tho

If a demo lock beats a MM hunter or a Fire mage in dps, it means, the hunter/mage are noobs.

Beating ret palas is possible but difficult due to high movement in most fights.

I agree with you, but on some fights its very possible. You have good chance to do that on Rotface, Festergut, Professor Putricide, Blood Prince Council, Blood-Queen Lana'thel.
Here is a SS on DBS 25m normal from last week, as you can see there is no way warlock to pull near that dmg. That warlock is 6.1gs but even a bis one cant go 30k, max probably he can pull will be around 25/6k. There was 3 or 4 bis mages in that raid and they are all behind the warlock which is strange but probably just bad RNG.If i remember correct 18th place was around 18k+

I have to agree with Comerlin here regarding mages vs locks. Mages are sadly not as great as they used to due to different nerfs/ buffs to other classes/some classes still broken.
But don't take me wrong mages should on paper be infront of a lock, but the fight is much closer now than before.
A ret pally losing to a lock however is a noob ret, same goes for warriors and hunters.

I think hybrid locks are ahead of mages, because their casting time is faster, they have big crit chance, and most importantly they don't depend on RNG, Bloodlust and cds like Mages do so there is very little room for errors. On burning phase they are just beasts, i don't think another class can hit over 110k dmg for 3 sec like hybrids can.
