Would you play on a TBC server?

i sure as hell would. Yes i've googled around and found out WarMoltenMane shut down the idea of a TBC server long ago, but with them trying to offer new expansions Ie: MoP and WoD, if feel they should give themselves a break and do an expansion that'd be a lot easier to debug and put back together. Many times i've quested through old world azaroth (pre-cata) and quested through Outlands (in retail and here on WoTLK) and just sitting here thinking about it, it always feels like their Vanilla and TBC zones are always the least buggiest, so why not? It takes a pretty mental person to sit there and not see the how obvious it is, how easy it'd be to put up a Vanilla and TBC server.

People are getting bored of WoTLK and Cata servers aren't really getting anymore fixed, and MoP isn't any less buggier, so why not put up some easy servers and make an attempt at a easy cash grab?

Anyways, they won't do it. To arrogant, to stubburn that's for sure and to blind to not be able to see the money they could grab off of those servers, and hell i'd be anything they'd be a lot less of a hassle to put up the a MoP server, that's for sure.

Peace, i'm out. Leave me something worth reading and I might respond.

Well there were tons of discussions on this topic. I would say i would play, but i would rather play WOTLK/CATA/MOP with full working BC/Vanilla content than going back zillion patches. I kinda have a feeling that Warmane staff is actually doing something in the background, like preparing some mega-uber cool shtiz, cuz they finally grasped the fact that people get bored and that they want working content as soon as possible (both old and new content). We might see some really amazing and cool stuff in near future, but also there is a possibility that we wont. Anyway my decision is to wait a month or even two (playing wow in casual mod), just to see if they're gonna get light speed development back in track. I know that more waiting doesn't promise anything changed, but i have a good feeling (why? well that i can't explain) and i'm gonna follow that feeling and see what will actually happen. We also need to understand that there is like a ton of pressure on them, from all the expansions demanding fixes, content etc.

I hope for the best. Cheers.

We have no plans to have additional expansion. It would inevitably degrade time we can allocate to existing expansions, instead considering everything - we are looking at an opportunity to have 2 expansions. One of them Wrath of the Lich King, another one something else. That said, as long as there is demand by the community we will continue supporting and developing all current expansions.

By expansions, do you mean realms, or...?

No, just in general. It would be most convenient to focus on less expansions more. My post was just a statement of the obvious :)

well i hope it is just a joke to "delete" third expansion atm. Yesterday i finally geared my shaman, which has donation items on itself (cata). Since wotlk is not getting deleted, then it is either cata or mop. and since you cannot downgrade mop, it will be neltharion that gets offered an "upgrate" to mop.
What has pushed you to this situation if i may ask? not a long ago, you were about to release 4th expansion, the WoD and now it is 180 degree spin...
    just sayin, not hatin

lol you crack me up Mr. wolf, lol. Warmane is already releasing a WoD expansion that which is already a mess in retail and you can't fix the other 3 expansion you have, but for some reason when I quest through outlands on any expansion 98% of the quest work and things are a breeze, lol. Of course you have no plans, Warmane doesn't make the plans to care about good stuff they'd rather push out bad expansions like Cata and WoD then a good expansion that climbed in numbers, lol.

You guys, i'm telling you, lol.

Warmane is not releasing WoD yet and having read your disgruntled posts, I advise you enjoy your gameplay elsewhere instead of masochistically torturing yourself by playing on Warmane.

Only 2 expansions? But wouldnt u throw away the whole development progress when u remove a expansion?
I mean, all 3 expansions have enough population to fill at least one realm so why do u consider to remove a expansion?

    You missed

If the population for both MoP and Cataclysm keep up, they won't be removed.

    Yeah I get it.
Im just curious why u even take into consideration to remove a expansion when each expansion has around + 3500 ppl online at peak hours.

Imo the low population of blackrock and warsong is the bigger problem. I guess the only thing that could save these realms would be cross-realm arena but no idea if u even work on CLB right now...

In theory and in practice, the less expansions the better focus and better quality can be. For example let's say we have 15 developers, if there are 3 expansions then it would take 5 developers working on each expansion. If we had 2 expansions, 7-8 developers on each, if one expansion then everyone would be working on a single expansion.
