This is molten... Depends on two factors, Class bugs and Player Skill.
I can give you Retails's Simcraft Data.
    T15 (Throne of Thunder)

    T16 HC (Siege of Orgrimmar)

I am, but Im only PvP geared, comparing DPS would kinda suck really.

Simcraft data at that point is basically meaningless. Not only is it useless comparing classes because each module is in a different state of development, but the results are just plainly laughable - Frost being above Fire and Arcane in T15 is certainly news to any mage who played at the time.

I played Frost in 5.3 and I was always above Fire and Arcane mages, even into 5.4 with 550 Ilvl a Fire/Arcane mage of equal gear would do less.

I hope those images aren't from Noxxic. Also, simulationcraft is great for figuring out stat weights, BIS items, and giving you a ballpark figure of how your spec should perform; it's also not a perfect representation simply because we don't raid in a vacuum. (Edit: Also what was mentioned above already.)

That being said, I know I parsed much better than what those charts display for item level on particular fights. Twin Consorts, I know I was parsing 200k+ once I got my set bonus, and I was parsing 400k+ on most fights in Siege of Orgrimmar normal, much less be full bis.

That doesn't mean I disagree with the ballpark figures, because I know for a fact that Mages, Warlocks and Hunters all did really well in general. I've also seen a Enhancement Shaman pull well over a million dps on Malkorok, on pull (burst damage), which is a single target fight. I'm just saying that it isn't a perfect reflection of what actually happens in-game. For my guild in Siege of Orgrimmar, I was almost always consistently top dps - and when I wasn't, I was in top 5.

I'm saying this because these charts you're showing put Rets in the bottom half or bottom 1/3 of the list (you know me and my favored spec), which I didn't find to be true with my experience.

Here's a picture of the meter with my guild prior to me reaching near-BIS from normal Siege of Orgrimmar and getting heroic loot. As you can see in the screenshot, it is near the end of phase 1 Garrosh, which obviously has adds. You can also tell from my bars that I'm using Execution Sentence and not Light's Hammer (for more damage on boss instead of trying to parse more dps off AoE meter padding).

@OP; If you want to do pretty good DPS and bring a LOT of raid utility, Elemental Shaman is the way to go. Warlock is pretty good to have for some fights too (for the gateway). If you only care about DPS, then you can't really go wrong so long as you know or learn how to min/max with that spec with both gears and encounter mechanics. Just so long as you're not trying to DPS with a Priest.

As far as Warmane specs are concerned? Well, I wouldn't make a choice based on how things are now, because that would just be short-sighted.

    Edit; Bonus: 535ilvl Elemental Shaman doing 1mil+ dps on 4 targets :^) http://imgur.com/IDKJ7EV || http://imgur.com/yHOCcEG

    Edit2; It's fun to be a Sith Lord http://imgur.com/rma8YCz,QvMrxgt

I kinda like the dk, but i heard he will suffer the nerf hammer next patches? Will he be viable for dpsing?

DK was one of the best DPS pre-Siege of Orgrimmar.
In SoO DKs felt back significantly...somewhere in the middle of the pack.
Do not trust these Simcrafts, they are obviously from Noxxic.
If you want some real numbers check - wowprogress or worldoflogs.
Wowprogress is the best in my opinions, sorted by best guilds, it shows raid comps, ilvl etc..

Then I don't understand why you never got outdpsed so far, since Mages, Hunters and Rouges do way better.

Maybe you should raid with better players:)

What performs better atm in pve? Rogue or mage? And what specs?

Wowprogress it out of date now, so thats pointless.
And the only figures on World of Logs is for premium members records, not actual average stats.

But yes, having played a DK through 5.3 to 6.0, we were great in TOT then as soon as SOO came and everyone got better stats we suffered hard. We scale badly late on but earlygame we're gods.

It depends since molten/warmane ////// retail... I mean there are other classes who beat dks by a long shot really but they are around the same level as rogue, retri paladin (with good gear) and warriors but I'd say that those three classes could outdps dks in the current state, If they decide to fix the unbalanced classes then who knows? But at the moment to reply to the Mage rogue it depends on your play style but at the moment it's the rogues who dominate the charts over mages. Not sure if mages are better then dk but perhaps they are.. I suggest ether rogue or warrior (retri needs crasy gear also) warrior become gods with 2p bonus :)

How is wowprogress out of date?
    Example ho to use it:
select tier and raid capacity - scroll all the way down and chose Heroic or Normal - click on youtube logo for boss you are interested in - there will be lot of videos and 2 sections(First and Last) - First means First kills, Last means - Latest kills, you can see the date, it is not outdated, also you can see raid composition, ilvl, and DPS/Healing in videos.

    For example Garrosh 10HC killed - Nov 9, 2014 19:17, average item level - 586.16

In World of Logs premium has nothing to do with analyzing how was you raid success.
    For example:

    Best DPS for boss:
    http://worldoflogs.com/ranking/eu-us...normal-10/dps/

    Specific raid for same boss:
    http://worldoflogs.com/reports/f9rku...23#Eaglegoboom

Damage and source of damage from specific player:
    http://worldoflogs.com/reports/f9rku...8/?s=483&e=823

You can do a lot of research by these logs. Looking for average best DPS is bad, since there can be a lot of low level players who perform badly compared to good players and will drag them down in overall charts. The reason why Noxxic is crap, is because they do not have much real samples, it is mostly SimulationCraft, their charts not always are realistic.
