    What are your thoughts on WOD?
    So far, my experience has felt like it is a single-player game if I'm not raiding. It has a lot of good things about it though. The leveling 90-100 was amazing. PvP needs more attention, content and balance (as always?). The raiding is really good though. I can't wait for Hellfire Citadel.

    Considering I mostly hear and see threads on blizzard's forum talking about how there won't be flying in WoD or any flying in the future. That is all I been hearing about.

    Raids have been pretty good, kinda pissed that ret's are useless in nearly every BRF Mythic fight-.- Levelling was awesome. Garrison's was a great idea but they messed it up, with mines and garden's and profession huts. Follower's are a joke of a system. PvP is pathetic too. 96% of the PvP community cried out for Ashran to be ignored and focus more on balance and release a new Bg and Arena, Blizzard replied with changes to Ashran.... Imo WoD had it's up sides but has declined faster and faster with each passing moment

    I personaly hated 95% of WoD , which is one of 2 reasons i came back to molten wotlk.
    Few good things in wod : Leveling , Graphics, Raids.
    WoD as whole expirience is very very bad. They just stockpile on useless , lore irrelevant(WoW irrelevant) , time consuming content like Garrisons , Ship building, follower missions, gearing followers, proffesion missions,pet battles,stupid story, useless achievments, 100% changed proffesions (so they are more time consuming).Gearing is so stupid, you have LFR-Normal-Heroic-Mythic raid difficulties and 2x more different gear levels with Warforged stupidity, no matter what item you get, 95% chances is that there is better version of that item and you have to play 5 more weeks of raiding to get(only 1-2% actual boos though), how about ****ing no?
    Thats why they lost massive 50% of subscribers in like 3 months which is greatest/fastest drop in wow subs so far.

    Agreed, with all the randomized stats on some items, random sockets and then Warforged crap it's so hard to get any good item, especially with Reforging gone. Run BRF Mythic every week for about 2 months, still not got one technical piece of BiS yet. Then you got the profession gear, spend half your gold on the item or mats for the item then spend half of your leftover gold to level it 4 times then spend the rest of that gold to keep rerolling it's secondary stats till you get your desired ones.

    Most ******ed Blizz decision few years ago- make SW base of alliance and Orgrimmar base of horde. Wow gz noobs! Stack people in one place.
    Now Garrisions- gz noobs separating players from each other. This should be a social game right?
    No flying mounts- great.
    If I want single player rpg there : Witcher, TES and Dragon Age which are 100 times more fun than WOW leveling...

    This is the problem with a progressive game like WOW. They have to constantly come out with new expansions and there is pressure to have big "new" and "exciting" changes with each expansion. When in reality WOTLK is the best the game ever was balance and game play wise and they should have just kept the game play the same as WOTLK and just improved on the balance of that expansion.

    If they kept it simple like wotlk and just fixed and removed useless stuff in wotlk it would be great. Imho cataclysm was good in every aspect except for raiding during 4.3.
    If they made some separate game where they only expanded upon wotlk story/game it would be perfect.
    I mean wod is good if you look at each piece of it individually but combined it makes up for one huge overbloated game.
    Give me wotlk story , cata talents(basicaly wotlk simplified), professions and stats, wod graphics and nothing from mop.

    All I had to hear was "no flying in the new zones" and I decided I wont play it. The most annoying thing about any expansion is the areas you cannot fly in.

    It was the exact same in MOP, you had LFR > Flex > Normal > HC.... And with Normal and HC you have Warforged too, then not to mention in 5.4.8 we had the extra 8 Ilvl from upgrades. So from LFR to HC WF 4/4 Upgraded you went from 528 to 588. AND THIS WAS JUST SOO! Let alone from something like T14..... Which would be 479 > 588.

So from LFR to HC WF 4/4 Upgraded you went from 528 to 588. AND THIS WAS JUST SOO! Let alone from something like T14..... Which would be 479 > 588.
    Gotta say, the stats and loot system in MoP, though similar to WoD, was a lot 'cleaner' than it is now. There was no need to add Prismatics and tertiary stats (although they aren't really a game changer) into mix. And what they had with the upgradable gear was actually really enjoyable, gave a lot of people a reason to run Rdf hc's again to get the valour if they missed a raid that week so it's a shame they just dropped that D:

    As i said, nothing from mop , mop was just terribad imho i literally dont like a single thing about mop, ok ok maybe legendary quests and its storytelling , nothing more. Mop was like....entirely different game and for a reason , they targeted asian market.
    Wod was just fixed mop fail attempt to teach average man about time travel and theoretical physics , it did move WoW back in the right dirrection though the most part, back to original...ish story and characters l. Thats why i have hope for future expansions.I mean as i said, looking at each part of wod separately its amazing global scale endless mmorpg , but combined offer very bloated and heavy game making average player get lost in endless content they cant possibly complete without playing 24/7 . You know when i started wod kemi , i started with 3 friends , they were lost for months before deciding to quit. I also hate new improved cross realm ****, basically you dont know anyone on your server and they dont know you , that is if you ever meet anyone from your server while playing , you go to durotar to win some duels, you beat a guy / he relogs , goes into different cross realm zone and you never see him again, you dont know who you beat where did he come from so no satisfaction. Que for arenas , well same story , you fight with someone from a 100th server. No thank you.


    All that made me come back to molten, at least its consistent, same old community (mostly) , in arenas/bgs you know who and what guilds you will meet,later you will fight on forum, satisfaction when fighting people you know xxx better, you play expansion which you saw fit, you get hyped for changelogs and dont worry about playing only 5 days in 3 months which you paid for previously.
    Even if wod went free i wouldnt play it, its too much for a regular guy , i came to realize this in my last weeks of playing , 80% of subs come from hardcore raiding nerds who are online 70% of the day and other 20%, are casuals, no guilds , just running lfrs and icc every day.
