Problem with realmist, help! :(

Hi everyone!

I wanted to play on this server that's why I changed my realmist for it:


and the problem is that, when I want to log in the statement shows up that I don't have an account here( but I do) and I should create a new one on battle.net
Why is that? What could be a problem? help. :(

It seems you've gotten the wrong file.

Lets start by finding the right file first.
Navigate to your Warmane WoW installation path, go into Data, then into enUS

The directory should look like this
[Warmane Path] \Data\enUS\

Once you get here, look for a small file called "realmlist.wtf"
If you don't see it, then create text document (aka notepad document) and rename it to realmlist.wtf

If you did find an existing file, right click on it and open it with notepad, or wordpad(depending on your operating system)

Delete EVERYTHING inside so that it is completely blank.
then copy and paste this one line inside:

set realmlist logon.warmane.com

Save the document and you're done.

It seems to be MoP, which means that it's the right file - Config.wtf. And it seems to be set correctly.

Ah that explains why you're using the config file. If its MoP you need 2 lines.

SET realmlist "logon.warmane.com"
SET patchlist "logon.warmane.com"
